*hayes pov*
We saw Melissa coming towards us again right as my ride pulled up. I grabbed jaylinn and ran to the car before Melissa could say anything to her. We drove to get froyo and went back to my house.
"I'm going to the store I'll be back in 2 hours" my mom yelled to us from downstairs.
"Okay" I yelled back.
I looked over at jaylinn, she seemed upset. Probably about what happens today with Melissa.
"You okay?" I asked her. She just looked down.
"Yeah I guess. Why does Melissa hate me though? She doesn't even know me?" She said tearing up. I just pulled her into a hug.
"It'll be okay. Stick with me I won't let her do that again okay?"
"Okay" she said and pulled away
"Wanna go to the park?" She asked
"Sure lets go let me call and tell my mom where we're going" I said getting out my phone. "She said we have to bring skylynn with us."
"Okay"
*JAYLINNS POV*
Me hayes and skylynn were walking to the park. When we got there we played with skylynn for a little bit. After a while she got tired and we had will come pick her up (I know I haven't brought up will a lot but He's going to be in the story a lot more) after will picked up sky, me and hayes just walked around the park talking.
We went into the woods
"Don't trip" hayes said to me winking
"I won't" when I tripped over a branch and suddenly hayes caught me in his strong arms
"I told you not to fall" he said and winked slowly his face drew closer and closer to mine and suddenly our lips touched sending fireworks everywhere. (Zaaaayyyyuuummmm bae)
We walked home hand in hand. And he kissed me before I walked into my house
tonight was the best night EVER!!!
