carter started leaning in. but hayes is probably dating my ex best friend right now, so why should i care? me and carter kissed. but it didnt feel right. not when it wasent hayes. i pushed him away and went up to my room. he didnt say anything. he just left the house. i pull out my phone for teh first time since me and hayes got into that fight. i had 60 texts from hayes 16 missed calls. 11 from hayes 2 from nash 1 from cameron, and 1 from matt. i decide to take a look at the texts. he just kept saying hes sorry and to text him back. i close out of my texts and go onto twitter. i see a ton of posts from hayes that say stuff like "i messed up everything" and "im so stupid". and actually, i felt bad. i decided to call him. let him explain. i dial his number and wait for his answer. "hello?" he said. i missed his voice. "hayes. its jaylinn" i barely say. "jay...listen i-" i cut him off. "come over, now please." i say and we hang up. next thing i know hes standing in my door. he looked like he hadent slept in days. he was a complete mess. man do i feel bad. i ran up to him and hugged him. i know i dont know what happend yet but im sure cassiee kissed him to make it look bad.i pulled away. "so, explain..." i say in a hush voice. "cassiee kissed me. it was all her." he says and grabs my hand. "i would never choose any girl over you. i love you" he says and kisses me. it was so muchbetter than when carter kissed me. i hugged hayes "it was hell without you" i say and i could feel him smile."hayes...." i say looking at him. "whats wrong?" he asks. "before you came over here, i was with carter...and" i couldnt finish the sentence "and what?" he asked. "and we kissed. but i pushed him away, it didnt feel right if its not you." i say a tear slipping down my cheek. "its okay babe, lets just put this behind us okay?" he says "ok" i respond and we leave to the hotel the guys are at, and honestly, i dont want to see carter. we get there and walk up to the room. we open the door and see carter sitting there making out with cassiee.hayes notices im getting mad and he puts his arm around me which calms me down. i say hi to everyone and they finally stop sucking eachothers face. hi. i say to them, but carter ignores me and glares at me. well, looks like camrons the only best friend i have now. but it was so worth it to get hayes back. me and brent have become friends kinda. but i like it. he had some girl here and i think theyre dating. im so happy for him. "hey" i say and sit next to them. "hey" brent says "hey im cheyenne" she says and smiles at me. "im jaylinn, but you can call me jay." i say and smile back. "its nice not being the only girl here. we should hang out sometime?" she asks and i nod and go back to hayes. "so whats the plans for today everyone?" i say and they all think. "how about the beach?" cheyenne suggests. "sure" "im in" we all say and go down to the cars. luckily cassiee couldnt come. we get to the beach and the guys head straight towards the water. me and cheyenne put down out towls and take in some sun. "so...you and brent?" i ask and she smiles and looks down. "i knew it!!! you guys are cute together" i say. "thanks, hes a sweet guy." she says i smile. "so are you and hayes dating?" she asks and i smile. "yeah. it will be three months on valentines day." i respond "awwweee thats so cute! maybe we all four can go on a double date or something" she says and i nod. "thatd be fun. next thing we see is hayes and brent coming up to us. "will you guys come in the water??" "pleaaseeee" they beg and we agree to so we dont get thrown in. we get in and stay in there for an hour. brent and hayes went out and me and cheyenne stayed for about ten more minuets. me and cheyenne made a plan. we ran out while hayes and brent were standing up. they had just finished drying off untill we ran up to them and hugged them getting them soaked again. hayes pushes me off. "what you dont want to hug me?" i say and pout. "well im already wet anyways." he says and hugs me. we start to drive home.we decided to all four of us go hang out togther tomorrow. cameron dropped me and hayes off. it was only 7 so hayes came over. we watched movies untill about 12 am. we were laying pon the couch and eating swedish fish. i looked over to him and he was asleep. i turned off the movie snuggled into his cheast and closed my eyes, slowly, i fell asleep.
*morning*
"wake uuuuuup" i quietly said and kissed hayes on the cheek. "goodmorning beautiful" he said which made me smile. "i cant wait for today to be over." i say. "me either. i have a huge suprise for you on valentines day" hayes said and i got all excited. "we have to meet up with cheyenne and brent in 2 hours we should probably get up" i say getting up a bit. "just a little longer?" hayes says and pulls me back down into his arms. "okay" i say and lay back down but we get up 20 minuets later. time to get ready!
