"are you doing anything next weekend?" she asked me as she walked me to my front door. i told her to just drop me in front of my house, but she insisted on walking me to the door.

i shook my head. "i don't think so."

"wanna go out? lisa's parents just opened a club last weekend and they want me to go promote it. well, lisa and i."

a club? she wanted to go clubbing with me? i've been clubbing once for my 18th birthday and let's just say i don't remember much about that night. i only remember chaeyoung, taehyun and mino helping me get home. then, i got an idea. "you said her parents want to you to promote their club?" she nodded. "so, the more people there are, the better?" she nodded again.

that weekend, she regretted it. i was standing in front of the big building with flashing lights. i was in line with chaeyoung et mino. chaeyoung was invited by lisa and i invited mino. jennie soon arrived, but she wasn't alone. sabina was with her. "hey, jisoo." jennie greeted me with a livelier tone than usual.

"hi, jennie." i replied with a smile. lisa arrived not long after and we got to cut the line because we were 'special guests'.

the moment we stepped in the club, the music became ten times louder than the thumping sounds we heard from outside, but it was a nice ambience. the booming music was so loud, you could swear you could feel your heart beating at the same beat. instantly, we were brought to a private section where there was a booth for us. "enjoy the night, everyone." lisa told us. "drinks for you are on the house tonight. don't forget, we're trying to promote this place so if you aren't having fun, well at least pretend like you are." she laughed as we also did. "now, i gotta go talk to some business people, but have fun!"

she walked just as quickly as she came and stole chaeyoung from our group about half an hour later. well shit. i was planning on sticking with her tonight after we let mino leave a couple of minutes ago pretending he was 'wasn't feeling well' so he could go back with taehyun. the hell was i suppose to do now? mino had a date tonight since it had been so long since he'd seen his boyfriend. shit. shit. shit. shit. i could not stay alone in this club with jennie and sabina.

i was currently sitting at the bar since i had nobody to hang out with. my best friend had been stolen from me by her crush, my fake boyfriend was with his actual boyfriend and the girl who claimed me as her girlfriend was with some chick she's been sleeping with. "are you okay, darling?" a voice brought me back to earth.

i turned my head to face the stranger next to me. "uh, yeah." i remembered lisa's words. 'if you aren't happy, at least pretend like you are.'

"you don't seem like you are." he chuckled. i put a smile and he smiled back. "ah there you go. a bright smile fits you really well." i chuckled and shook my head. "anyways, why are you alone here?"

just like that, we started to talk. for some reason, i told him my situation. whether it was due to the intake of alcohol or my need to talk to someone, i opened up a little to the stranger and found out a lot about him. i learned that his name was bobby, he was a senior at yg high like me and other things about his family and social life.

"so, you just left her like that?" i laughed as i heard about how he left his grilfriend when he found out she had been cheating on him.

"hell yeah!" he laughed along. "i mean she treated me like shit in the last months we were together, but she was a great girlfriend in the beginning."

"she missed out, dude. based on what you told me, she was obviously great at first, but in the end, it was a shit move to make." i said honestly.

he shrugged. "i'm fine now. it took me a couple of months to realize how bad my relationship had gotten, but i'm glad i can say that i've moved on."

suddenly, we were interrupted. "are you serious, jisoo?" there was no mistaking it. it was jennie.

"what?" i asked, genuinely getting pissed of because i was getting along quite well with bobby.

"don't you think one side partner is enough?" are you kidding me?

"this is coming from the girl who's known as a player in school."

"yeah and after you became my girlfriend i only slept with one girl and only once like three weeks ago. she's the one who keeps sticking around."

"you are unbelievable jennie kim."

"me? look at you! you have two side partners at the same time damn it."

"i not her side partner, we just became friends." bobby chimed in. "and even if we were, why would it bother you? from what jisoo told me, you were the one to break the news to her that you had a side partner."

jennie ignored bobby and glared at me. "well, if you're doing this because you're bothered by sabina, you shouldn't because you have mino."

i groaned and rolled my eyes. "i am not bothered by sabina because i am not your girlfriend and mino is not a side partner."

"what?!"

"he's my brother's boyfriend and my childhood friend. we pretended to have something going on for like a second just to fool around."

"i need to talk to you in private." that was the last thing she told me before i was dragged to the women's bathroom.
