Chapter 7 ~ Babysitting THEM (Part 2)

Author's POV

"Nice house." Chara said amazed as his eyes wandered around your living room "Isn't it a bit, you know, lonely when you live in such a big house by yourself?"

You chuckled, "Yes and no. Since I moved in, my plushies somehow kept me company. I don't know why, but it's like the house is actually protecting me."

You loved kids, so you weren't really shy around them. Babysitting kids was another story.

Frisk used sign language to communicate, Chara translated what he said for you.

"Frisk says it's beautiful... I'm not going to translate the rest." Chara glared at his brother when Frisk signed the rest of the sentence.

Frisk's grin was just too adorable for you, you had no idea how he can see with his eyes always closed, but you didn't want to be rude, so you kept silent about that.

"Alright guys, wait here please. I'm going to put the groceries away. Oh by the way, would you like two plushies to play with?" You asked kind. Chara didn't really like plushies anymore, at least not as much anymore as Frisk. But something urged him to cuddle with a plush. So he just nodded like his brother.

"Hold on, let me get two plushies." You said as you walked upstairs.

You almost arrived at your room door when you were suddenly pulled into the room of the Undertale brothers.

"so kid, who are ya babysitting?" Sans asked curiously.

"T-That's odd, b-but I have to watch over Frisk and Chara... I-I k-know who they in y-your world is." You answered, afraid of how he might react. You only knew them from the Undertale game, why were they in your world, too?

Sans's eyesockets were completely black and you could feel a dark aura coming from him.

Papyrus on the other hand seemed excited, "THE HUMAN IS HERE, TOO?"

You held your finger to your lips to say 'Quiet!', Papyrus nodded and quietly said a 'Sorry.'

"(Y/N)?! Is there someone with you?! Are they hurting you?!" Chara yelled from downstairs.

"No! I only found an old audio! The volume was accidentally turned up! Sorry!" You yelled back with a quick lie you came up with. Frisk signed something to Chara. Which confused Chara, but he still yelled again.

"Was that an audio of Papyrus from Undertale or something?!" Sans, Papyrus and you froze. The skeletons who listened from their rooms froze aswell. "That sounded like a DUB version of him, we didn't know you loved Undertale!"

You laughed nervously when you saw a tiny blue and orange blush on Sans's and Papyrus's cheekbones.
