The warm arid air quickly turned cold as we got closer to the Elven forest. I lower myself between the ridges of Coldrog to block out the colder wind. My younger self just looks straight ahead with a smile. It's as if she's not getting cold at all. It could be the Dragon's blood coursing through her veins keeping her warm. I on the other hand, is nearly frozen. Up in the air, the air is even colder than what it would be on the ground, but it's a magical feeling seeing the world from above. I never got the chance to see it when I was fighting with Nada. I'm not even sure if I was in control of my body anymore. The amount of rage that was released blinded me. Now, I cannot be seeing any clearer, yet the path is clouded ahead of me. I know nothing of my future nor the future of this child. I'm sure Myriani will set her on the right path.

I wonder how long it's been since these two have been to their homeland. Maybe the Elv's didn't have a permanent home back then. I'm sure that the world is different now than what it used to be. New weapons, new magic, and new people all around. Come to think of it, how did the Dragon's lose the war with the humans? Was it against their very nature to harm humans since we worked together in the past or was it something else? Maybe it was my Father's doing to advance humanity and he forced the Dragon's to lose the war.

"Coldrog," He looks back with one eye, "how did you lose the war with humanity? Were you forced to?"

"Hm," He smirks, "Kazle didn't force us to do anything. We foresaw...mainly Irin...the future of the world and the coming events of the future. Humanity would have gone extinct if we won the war. We lost on purpose to give humanity a chance in the future. Even the Elves gained new magic through our proxy war. I wish you knew who your father really was. He was a great man and an even greater ruler. Every being respected him...until the fall."

"The war 300 years ago." I finish Coldrog's thought, "Because of his intervention, the world was torn in two. One of the Goddess' heirs was corrupted by my Father and thus the people and the land lost respect for him..."

"Aye." He closes his eyes in thought, "You are nothing like your family...and that's a good thing. It's time the World of the God's came under new leadership. Unlike your Father and sister, you care more than just your family."

"I was raised by humans...I see all of them as my family and a strong sense of justice to protect them." I smile and look down at the sprawling lands dotted by small villages, "Each and every single person is a brother, sister, father, and mother. As so much death has happened, I will right the wrong and destroy anything that tries to harm my family."

"That better include us Dragon's!" Coldrog laughs, his body shaking with each one, "We're your family too."

"I know." I lean and hug his body, "I know."

"When we first saw you, I thought you were childish, but it seems that the events you've lived through, has changed you." Coldrog says, "Yet, you're about as stubborn as a mule."

"I hear that a lot." I chuckle, "How much longer?"

"Not far," Coldrog looks back out in the distance, "How is Saria? It's been a few thousand years since I've last seen her."

"She died a few years ago..." I saw trying to not sound sad. I never knew the Elven queen, but I still feel somewhat responsible for everything, "A man poisoned her, but I killed him out of revenge for destroying my home. The new queen is her daughter."

"Ah Miss Myriani." He sighs, "I hope she's not too stubborn like her mother was."

"She really is, trust me." I laugh, "But, she's grown since adventuring and fighting together. There's not a lot of Elves left after the battle. Thousands died from an attack that I could have prevented."
