S.O.T.D: ALONE TOGETHER-FALL OUT BOY
-
"I feel like I'm obligated to ask if you're okay but I also feel I'm obligated to just walk right by you and say nothing" Andrew said as he emerged from the bathroom with a towel slung around his lean waist.
"I think you should feel obligated to not feel obligated to speak" I harrumphed from Chandler's bed.
"What was that? I didn't quite catch it" Andrew said feigning stupidity.
"I'll tell you what you can catch" I grumbled at him.
"You may want to go and get slightly presentable, the nerd convention is almost over and dinners on Chandler" Andrew shrugged rummaging through his suitcase.
"Fine" I mumbled standing up.
"Extra towels are in the bathroom" Andrew said without looking at me, "I'll be back"
With that he exited the room, towel and all.
"Showoff" I rolled my eyes imagining all the girls that were probably going to need EMT's at the sight of Andrew's golden body.
"Shut up, Harper" I clenched my fists and rummaged through the bags of clothes finally deciding on a pair of light wash jeans, a light military jacket, and some girly things. Figuring Andrew wouldn't be back for a bit I left them neatly on Chandler's bed and walked into the bathroom, ready to wash my worries away.
"So I said ooh, ooh, you got me in the mood, mood" I danced as my phone blared my favorite song and the showers steam seemed to evaporate all my problems, "We're in danger, sleeping with a friend".
Once I finished taking my shower I wrapped one of the provided towels around my body and dried off. With the bottle of man scented, but moisturizing, lotion I found near the sink, I lotioned up and got out of the bathroom practically skipping to my new clothes as 'Drunk in love' came on.
I threw my underwear and bra on and decidedly made the biggest mistake of my life...I picked up Ethan's hair brush and started signing.
"WE BE ALL NIGHT, LOOOVE, LOOOVE!" I danced wildly as the chorus blared. I couldn't deny how normal this felt. It was almost as if I was back home, in my room getting ready for school and taking longer than I needed.
"A plus on the moves, D minus on the singing" I heard a deep voice from behind me. In one move, my towel was whipped around me and I looked at Andrew.
"Darn it, I guess I missed the party" Andrew said straight-faced walking into the room as if he hadn't caught me dancing half naked doing a bad Beyonce impersonation.
"What happened to people knocking?" I asked shakily praying for the towel to wrap around my body properly. Right now it was only covering my front, surely giving all of the people outside a nice viewing party.
"I didn't think I'd have to knock on the room that you weren't paying for...silly me" He shrugged watching me with slight interest.
"What did you go to do downstairs in a towel, anyways?" I gulped trying to change the topic.
"Wanted to give the general female population something to write home about" he sneered.
"Ha-ha" I deadpanned.
"Are you just going to stand there practically naked or are you going to get dressed?" He asked throwing on a white shirt from his suitcase.
"I can't get dressed in front of...." I muttered to his back.
"Aww, you're uncomfortable!" Andrew seemed to bask in this fact, "I never knew I had that effect on you"
"You don't" I spat annoyed.
