S.O.T.D: BEST DAY OF MY LIFE BY THE AMERICAN AUTHORS :)

ETHAN >

-

"Do you people not eat?" I screeched from the backseat. I was sat with my legs crossed onto the seat, despite Chandler's protests, and found myself quite comfortable...save for the hunger that was panging inside of me.

"What'll it be?" Ethan asked jovially.

"The greasier, the better" I yawned as a big yellow arch came into view.

"Aren't cheerleaders supposed to be on healthy diets?" Chandler asked me, eyes bright, "Or is that a myth?"

"A few fries won't kill me" I rolled my eyes, "Neither would a quarter pounder"

"You could put all that away?" Ethan asked from the driver's seat, "A little thing like you?"

"This thing isn't so little" I grumbled as he parked the car.

"Eat up, we need to make sure we're in the big CA by morning" Ethan said taking his keys out of the ignition.

"CA? As in California?" I asked momentarily confused.

"No, as in Canada" Andrew snapped.

"What are you guys going to do in California?" I mumbled turning to Chandler, who was hastily unbuckling his seat belt.

"You're free to leave" Andrew smirked stretching out his limbs as he got out, "Less mouths to feed"

"I could drop you anywhere you want, Harvard" Ethan suggested softly.

"Yeah, you can just take me home" I shrugged, "Time to face the wrath"

I stared at my bag, now stuffed with various papers, as a fresh wave of tears threatened my eyes.

"I need to use the bathroom" I said quickly running out of the car and into the McDonald's.

Once I was safely locked into a stall, I fished the papers I was looking for out and read over them with my jaw clenched.

"This has gotta be a mistake" I said silently crying to myself.

"No, darling, these bathrooms really are as gross as they look" I blinked as I heard a southern accent in the stall next to me.

"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry" I jumped.

"No problem sweetheart" I heard a door open and cautiously peered out of mine.

"Whats with the tears?" A weathered face popped into view and I had to grab onto the stall door to keep from falling into the toilet.

"Uhm, its nothing" I said cautiously. Standing in front of me was what appeared to be a Go-go dancer...35 years too late.

She was wearing a bright blonde shiny wig, a sparkly tube top and matching skirt, with go-go boots and bright orange lipstick. I decidedly kept my mind off of her horrendous fake tan and smiled.

"I'm fine"

"Didn't sound that way to me, dearie" she chuckled to herself, "Whats the matter?"

I pursed my lips and wondered about her. She probably had kids, who had kids and was standing here making conversation with a random kid, like she did it every day.

I stared at Cindy, the name I had subconsciously given her because it suited her, and shrugged. My life was already crap, right? I was already going to make the boys take me back home to have my parents yell at me, deal with a bad boyfriend and even worse friend, and figure out what all these papers meant. Why not let it all out on a complete stranger?
