"And if you look right over here, you'll see one of the most famous stars, the sun" I spoke clearly and looked down as a little boy, around ten or so, tugged at the hem of my shirt.

"What's a constellation?" His mom ruffled his red hair and I grinned.

"Well, a constellation is a grouping of prominent stars that are usually visible from Earth." I could tell the next question he was about to ask, "A star is a giant sphere of plasma that's held together by its own gravity"

His eyes widened and he turned to his mom, "Mom did you hear that? That's so cool!"

"Thank you very much for visiting the Los Angeles Planetarium, and we hope this visit has inspired you to reach the stars" my co worker, Stacy, rolled her eyes at the corny line as the crowd dispersed and we walked to the staff room.

"Longest day of my life" she murmured as Dexter walked in.

"Try having a nine am class on Astrophysics, a twelve PM business class, and then coming here right after" I murmured unbuttoning my "I'm a star" vest and throwing a light sweater over my tank top.

"Yeah, you've got it rough" Dexter nodded in agreement but gave me a smile, "But I think your friends are outside"

"How do you know?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.

"I heard people arguing, incredibly loudly, about whether plasma was made of air or volcanic lava" I rolled my eyes and quickly picked up my bag waving goodbye to them.

California was gorgeous around this time of the year. The leaves were just beginning to turn yellow and the wind was crisp. I tightened my shirt around me as I stepped into the fresh air.

"Harvard!" I instantly recognized Ethan's agitated voice and jogged over to the familiar black SUV. One would think that the nickname would lose its appeal but I guess not.

"How was your casting call?" I wondered nearing the car. I spotted Andrew standing outside of the drivers side door clad in a pair of black jeans and a red shirt. His tan was still ever so present and his teeth flashed white once he saw me.

"It was fine" Ethan huffed, "Stop trying to change the subject"

I rolled my eyes as Andrew pulled me in for a hug and quickly ducked to kiss me. His gentle lips moved against mine and I revelled at how perfectly they fit against my own. His strong arms were around my waist, like a barrier between us and the world and I pulled away ever so slightly with a grin.

"Really guys? In the middle of my conversation?" Ethan wailed and I looked into the backseat where Kyle was knocked out, drooling slightly.

"You were the only one talking" Andrew huffed.

"Very true" Chandler said nodding at me as he got out of the passenger seat. He was wearing a pair of shorts I was sure left goosebumps on his legs and a black sweater. As usual, his green eyes were bright as he regarded us, "You may want to wake your girlfriend up before she causes a tsunami in the back seat"

Kyle and Ethan had been flirting for almost two months but only started dating a week after we all decided to move out to California together. Well, it wasn't really together but we all ended up here at a point or another.
