No one knew how to act around Seth.

Ethan and Chandler didn't know how to come back to the house, the next day, and hide their excitement from their meeting.

I didn't know how to ask for shampoo or proclaim my love for fictional television characters.

Even Andrew didn't know what level of sarcasm was appropriate. It was a mess; Seth was a mess.

When he wasn't staring at pictures of her, he was making heaping amounts of what he called wackaroni; the dish he swore made her fall in love with him.

We tried to give him his space, hoping that allowing him to grieve would help him out but that proved to be doing the complete opposite as the days passed by.

It wasn't until four days later that we all decided enough was, indeed, enough.

I was silently tiptoeing to the bathroom, afraid that he would hear me from where he was in the living room and call me over. He had been doing that alot; he would call anyone he thought was available and tell countless stories about how he was a screw up who never deserved her.

"You should've seen her face when I told her the truth..." Seth had spoke between his hands the night before.

Anyways, I was three steps from the bathroom, to my escape, when a firm hand was pressed against my mouth and I was yanked to the side, into a bedroom.

"Hello, Harper" Ethan was sat on the bed in the middle of the room with his hands in his lap. His black tshirt and yellow surf shorts made me grin in contrast with his serious face.

"Can I help you?" I murmured tightening my towel around myself.

"You actually can" My head snapped to the right, where Chandler was coming out of a walk in closet bleary eyed.

"You slept in there?" I wrinkled my eyebrows in confusion. I mean, yeah, the room was bare save for the bed and the flat screen tv but it wasn't small enough for someone to ever think they needed to sleep in a closet.

"That isn't the main point" I recognized the annoyed grunt and moved forward as Andrew gently pushed past me, into the room, "The point is, I had to sit through three hours of the 'Treth chronicles' last night"

It was still kind of wierd seeing Andrew as we still hadn't spoken about what had happened a couple of days ago. There was never a good time to talk in between Seth's marathon stories, obsessive cooking, and sad wails.

"Oh" I scrunched my face and he gave me a smirk. I noticed that he was bare chested and fought to hide my blush.

"You look hot" He grumbled staring at me with a hint of a smile.

"P-Pardon?" I sputtered.

"No, not like that. You're red"

"Oh" My heart dropped and I licked my lips repetitively.

"Oh, no, I didn't mean~"

"What did you pull me here for?" I cut Andrew off and stared at Ethan.

Ethan awkwardly stared between the two of us before rubbing the back of his head, "Well, it's Seth...He's in a rut"

"You don't say"

"We need to do something about it" Andrew interjected giving me a shrug, "I've never seen him like this."
