Im 18 but nobody treats me like an adult. Is it because I Dont "act" like an adult ?
Im 18 and I finally got a job ...well not quite yet but Im in the process of getting hired for the job. Once I get the job and start working, maybe people will start to treat me as an adult. Im still considered as a teen because it basically says it in my age. EightTEEN! ! But 18 is considered by society as an adult and you can do adult stuff at that age.
I have friends that are underage you could say. They are all 16 and some 17 years of age. I Dont feel superior to them because Im not! Duh. Im just a teen but wanting to be treated as an adult . ya feel me ?
Well, so when I went to the work force solutions for the interview for the job, the first thing I saw was a guy named Albert. I sat down on the tables and he was talking with the other people there . I turned around to talk to them, and then Albert turns around and OMG his eyes were green . after that a few minutes passed and the room was almost empty and he started small talk with me. We talked for about and hour . he was very sweet and his eyes, I cant forget his eyes . a few minutes pass and Im called up for the interview, and I get the "job" and leave . my parents weren't there so I had to wait for them inside the place. A few minutes after I left, Albert walks out and I stop him and ask him "hey did you get the job?" and be said yes . then I ask for his name and he tells me its Albert and he then follows it up with " nice to meet you " and smiles and walks away . oh and yeah I told him my name. Im excited to start working to see Albert and maybe ya know. Get close .
