The feeling that lingers

Is the feeling that stays,

It is the feeling that I have

That will never go away.

I can break it, drown it,

Beat it and suppress it,

But no matter what I do

I can never erase it.

This feeling that I have

Temporary it may be,

Has begun to open my eyes

Has begun to make me see.

That no matter what happens

I'm glad to call you friend,

Because I didn't meet you at the beginning

You helped me in the end.
