Steve's POV

Fury has called the Avengers together for an important meeting. Too bad Thor's not here or... Nope. Not even going to think about her.

"I have called you all here to speak to you about a limitless energy source that may or may not attract alien life," Fury says, cracking his knuckles.

"Would this be the thing we thought Loki was coming for, but instead took another prize?" Tony asks.

"The very same. The Tesseract is very unstable, so we have to keep you all on call until we can stabilize it."

"What if we can't?" I ask.

"Well, son, we have to hope for the best," Fury says. Then he waves at us to leave. Everyone heads to Stark Tower. Tony orders pizza, and Pepper joins us. She has a little baby bump now, which Tony is proud about.

We eat pizza, then watch movies all night, throwing popcorn at each other like kids. Everyone ends up sleeping in the movie room while a Disney movie plays in the background.

Katie's POV

Everything is settling back into place now that I am not sick. Loki has begun to teach me magic-science, and I enjoy it very much. I still can't speak so everything is quiet, but it has strengthened Loki and mine's bond.

So, if you feel into the area around you with your mind, I know you'll get it, Loki tells me. I close my eyes, feeling the Asgardian energy around me, but nothing happens.

Oh well, I'm done today, I tell him, pushing away from the wooden desk. Loki smirks at me. I nudge his arm and walk out. It's wintertime in Asgard, and snowflakes land on my pale face, tickling me. I scoop up some cold snow and toss it at Loki. It hits him on the face. Then, he throws one at me, sending snow all over my torso. Thor sees us and decides to join in the game.

We pelt each other with the snow, little children from the village joining in. I show them how to make snow angels, Loki speaking for me, and they love it. Then, we make snowmen, or, in my case, enormous frost sculptures of the children. They shriek with delight, their rosy cheeks accenting the sweet little grins. Loki plays tricks on the children, when a little boy is about to throw a snowball at him, he'll dissappear only to toss the boy in the air and catch him. Sif comes out with Janey to watch us, wrapped in tons of winter cloaks. Loki and I don't need cloaks.

As it starts to get dark, the children run home to tell their mothers how they played with Thor and Loki. We walk inside together, knowing that Frigga has warm drinks set aside for us. A banquet is set out, and I see  finely dressed people. I glance at Loki, confused. He teleports us to my room.

"I forgot to mention that today is an important Asgardian holiday," he says sheepishly. I raise my eyebrows at him.

"The Day of Ice. We celebrate the winter because it means we've all lived through the year," he replies. I nod. Then I clear my throat.

"Do I have to wear something special?" I say in a loud whisper.

"Aha! Your voice is coming back! And yes, you do," Loki smiles. After a few minutes, he hands me a sparkly light blue dress that looks like winter. I smile at it. He hands me a flowing white cloak to accompany it. Then, Loki teleports out.

I dress myself, twirling to see. The dress looks like a winter storm. I pull my hair back into a braided bun at the nape of my neck. After placing my crown on top of my head, I look at myself in the mirror.  Look at you, a frost princess.

I pull on white, sparkly flats and rush out to meet Loki. I gape when I see him.

He is wearing black armor with gold accents and a long black cape. He has his everpresent boot guards and his helmet on.

"The helmet?" I ask in my near whisper.

"I told you, this is a high class affair. I'm glad to see the crown. It suits you," he says, adjusting it. Loki wraps his arm around my waist amd together we make our way to the Day of Ice celebration.
