Katie's POV

Frigga has been very obviously waiting for me in the Bifrost, by the looks of her tapping toe and crossed arms. But her face melts into a tearfully happy look of joy when she sees me.

"Oh, my dear! You look beautiful! Tell me, Katie, and be completely honest; are you sure, to your very core, that you want to marry Loki?"

That hits me hard. I have to steady myself. "Are you telling me not to?"

"No, but I want you to be sure. My son loves you more than words can describe. I don't want you to back out of this because you don't truly love him, it would hurt him too badly to recover from."

Do I really want to marry him? To be the queen, to rule along side him? What if he leaves me again? Can I live through that?  And, Odin forbid, he leave me with a child? Can I trust him?

Then, a sweet fire of reassurance burns through me, from who knows where. I feel relaxed, calm, and happy, all mixed with a bright sense of confidence and peace.

"Frigga, I am sure. Thank you for asking me, it has given me time to think about a multitude of things that have been clouding my mind," I say, wrapping my arms around her. She grasps my hand, grateful tears in her eyes.

I really do love you with all my heart. Thank you for believing in him.

I will always believe. I love you, too.

Somehow, I'm not shocked that Frigga, in reality, does use sorcery. I kinda knew all along.

Then, bells ring, and Heimdall glances at us. "You two had better be going, there's a wedding going on!"

Frigga nods at me, and I teleport us to the bridal room.

After last minute preps, Frigga tells me what happens at an Asgardian wedding.

"You will walk down the aisle, as is common in Midgardian weddings, and you will also stand before a sorceror-priest. The priest will read the vows, and then, the rings will be exchanged."

"Ring exchange?" I ask.

"Yes. You will have your engagement band exchanged for a traditional marital one, as will Loki. Do not worry, you will be able to keep your engagement ring."

"Oh, good," I sigh.

"Then, I think the rest shall happen like a Midgardian wedding. A kiss to seal the vows, and a party afterward to celebrate."

Of course. Frigga and her parties. "What if I make a mistake?"

"Then you and I will be more similar than ever. I dropped my ring and it rolled under a table," she laughs, leading me to the entrance. I breathe in deeply.

Frigga leads me down the beautiful golden aisle, as is traditional. I smile, seeing Loki in his wedding clothes.

He is wearing full Asgardian armor that is completely black, along with armor straps that are emerald and gold. His simple yet fancy gold crown with emeralds in it is nestled in his slicked back raven hair. And, of course, elaborately carved gold boot guards with emeralds set in them.

Thor stands by him, in celebratory yet repectful armor, and beside him, Odin, in a similar outfit. Sif stands opposite them, in a beautiful golden dress that sparkles and perfectly compliments her black hair. Frigga is wearing a golden dress with emerald accents to it.

The sorceror-priest is wearing a black robe with a golden sash and is older than Odin. He holds a book, one I recognize as a coveted religious book.

I take my place facing Loki in front of the sorceror-priest. He begins to read from the book.

"We are gathered here in the great and powerful city of Asgard to celebrate the marriage of two souls, who, in marriage, shall become as one, working together in perfect harmony."

That was amazingly beautiful, and I realize that he didn't read that from the book.

The people in the audience seem happy, completely oblivious to the fact that Loki had ever comitted a wrong doing.

The priest continues. "Through hardship and trials, they have found more and more about each other, falling deeper and deeper in love with the flaws and perfections they've realized."

Loki's emerald eyes meet my icy blue ones, joy and excitement radiating through them.

"These two have decided that they cannot live without the other. And it is with great honor that I ask them the following: do you, Princess Katie of Midgard and Asgard, accept Loki, Crown Prince of Asgard and of Jötunheim at birth, as your faithful partner"

"Yes, I do with all my heart!" my voice rings with confidence and joy.

"And do you, Crown Prince Loki of Asgard and Jötunheim, accept the beautiful Princess Katie of Midgard and Asgard as your faithful and compassionate partner?"

"Always, with all my heart!" he responds, a grin spreading across his lips as he glances at me.

"Then, with all magic in my soul be binding, I pronounce you as one and equal Husband and Wife! You may now kiss the bride!"

Loki wraps his arm around my waist and kisses me sweetly and passionately on the lips.

Cheering and clapping erupts all around us in the room.

"I love you, unconditionally and forever," Loki whispers in my ear.

"I love you, unconditionally and forever too," I whisper back.

We split apart just enough for the guests to see our faces, causing them to go even wilder. Loki's arm is still tightly wrapped around my waist, making me smile.

Loki cups my face in his hands and kisses me again, filling me with the same fire I felt when talking with Frigga. And I no longer feel cold.
