Katie's POV
Frigga sees me walking out of the dungeon with a look of cautious hope, her hands clasped at her chest. I look at her, knowing that I can't hide the light in my eyes. Something is alive inside of me, I just can't figure out what.
Frigga rushes up to me. "Did... Are you okay?"
"I'm better, as you can see I'm talking now. Can I speak to you in a more private place?" I say. Then I realize that I left my boots and gloves in the dungeon. "Can we find me shoes?"
"Yes, of course darling." Frigga snaps her fingers and two maids appear, holding dark blue flats and gloves. I pull them on, and Frigga and I walk to her room.

"Do you feel better now?" she asks.
"Yes, but I'm still too cold to touch anyone but Loki," I say, staring at my hands in my lap.
"Darling, maybe it's for the best?" she says. My stomach rumbles, and my face starts burning with embarrassment, but Frigga's eyes light up with joy.
"You're hungry! We must feed you!" she grins, jumping up. Frigga yanks me along with her to the dining hall and orders food for me. I bite my lip, eyeing all the food.
"I don't think even Thor could eat all this..." I stutter. Frigga frowns and nods.
"Maybe we should invite Thor to eat, we haven't had a family dinner in a while," Frigga says, tapping her toe. Then, she runs off to get Thor, leaving me to watch as the food piles up.

After a very filling meal, I walk to the throne room. Odin raises an eyebrow at me.
"The blue has left your skin," Odin remarks. I look at my arms, seeing the slightly pale skin that I haven't seen for so long.
"So it has," I say. My hair is still white and utterly straight.
"Why have you come, daughter?" Odin asks, resting a hand on his leg. "To ask that Loki be released?"
My jaw drops slightly. "I... uh, no. I came to say thank you."
"Thank you for what?"
My cheeks burn. "For taking me in and caring for me."
Odin nods. "You are welcome. Do you have anything else on your mind?"
A thousand thoughts fill my head. "How long? How long is he imprisoned?"
Odin sighs. "Too long."
I nod. Suddenly, I run up and hug him. Then, I run to my room.

The bathtub fills with steamy, perfumed water. I slip in, loving the burning sensation it gives me. Soon, I doze off.
I wake up in my bed, but something is different. Loki lays next to me.
How did he get out?
I am tempted to run to Odin, but I also want to wrap myself in his arms.
Suddenly my room melts away, and I see a wedding altar. This altar is strangely terrifying, making me feel uncomfortable. The sky is gray and cloudy, and I am wearing a white dress. Then, I feel a sharp pain in my stomach and I watch in horror as red spreads. I look up and see a large blue man. Not Loki, but someone else. He laughs at me, then turns away.
My eyes widen as he attacks each one of the Avengers, even Pepper. I scream in horror, but I can't do anything to help. A bright white light blinds my view, and all the blood disappears.
I end up at a different altar, this one less frightening. I watch as a faceless bride walks to a faceless groom, I am confused and scared.
I wake up, feeling strangely sick and peaceful. I am laying in my bed in a little ball, like the dream, but Loki isn't next to me. I pull my hair out of my face. Frigga must have seen me. I sigh, getting up to look out the window. The snow is mostly gone, but the sky is still gray.
I pull on a blue dress and walk into the bathroom. My white hair frames my face in wild curls.
Curls?
I make my hair presentable and walk to the dining hall. My jaw drops when I get to the hall.
