Theo and I are back on the baseball team and we've won every game since. We were told that when we quit the team they had lost so many games. Everyone was happy we were back.

As I sit down on the bench Hunter comes and joins me. "Hey." He says.

"Hey." I say back. We sit in an awkward silence and I find that weird as Hunter and I have never had an awkward silence between us. It's always been a comforting silence. I guess a lot of things have changed. Nothing's the same anymore. I can't take it anymore. I want Hunter as my friend again. I can't lose his friendship. I may not have deep feelings for him but he's always been h=there for me since I moved here.

"Hunter, I'm sorry for everything. I can't believe that I ever ignored you."

"It's okay. I was letting my feelings get the best of me."

"But shouldn't you though? Feelings are everything. Without feelings we wouldn't be human. You can tell me anything. You should know that... I was mad because you kept on getting mad at me hanging out with Theo. I never understood why though so I just shut you out. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Of course. That's what friends are for April. But I'm sorry to. I also shut you out because I was feeling defensive. You kept on hanging out with Theo and I kept on asking what was good about him that wasn't good about me? But I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?"

"I think I can. Please don't worry. There's nothing wrong about you. Theo is a good friend of mine but you are to. Don't forget that."

"I won't."

"Good. I'll see you later than."

"Later."

When practice was over I walked over to my motorcycle and put on my helmet. Theo came up behind me and grab the extra helmet and climbs on the motorcycle behind me. Once we're both on I turn the engine on and pull out of the school parking lot. Everything has turned right again. Theo and I are back on the baseball team, Hunter and I are friends again, Professor James and Professor Ruby never took control of the world, and Theo and I get to do our work at my house. I don't think anyone smiled as big as me in that moment.
