Lincoln
After a few moments of silence, I stand up and decide to go after Daxia.
"Lincoln," I hear my mother say.
I haven't heard that voice in over eight years. But I don't stop, I walk out of the room and turn down the hall. I have no clue where Daxia went, and i also have no clue how to get around this place. I wander down the hall a few moments and then stop to look around. Everything looks the same. Door after door, all the way down the hall. I turn around and see her, walking away from me. I run after her.
"Hey, wait up!" I reach her, and grab her shoulder.
She turns around, except it's not Daxia. The girl standing in front of me has almost the same color hair as Daxia, but now that I'm looking at her up close, I notice that it's actually a bit lighter. Her eyes are a lighter, clearer green, and not as dark as Daxia's. She stares at me, confused.
"Oh, I'm sorry," I say.
"I thought you were my friend, I'm looking for her but I have no idea where she went."
I look around the hallway again, but I see no one else. I look back at the girl. She's a bit shorter than me, about the same height as Daxia. Actually, now that I think about it, she looks a lot similar to Daxia, it's eerie. I can see Daxia when I look at her, they have the same face, but where Daxia's features are dark, and intense, her's are softer and warmer. I remember when I first met Daxia, she looked almost evil, not that she was evil. She looks like the nicer, softer version of Daxia.
"I'm sorry, I'm Lincoln." I say, extending my hand out towards her.
She smiles at me, and then shakes me hand.
"Pleased to meet you Lincoln. I'm Dalia." She replies with a British accent.
"Do you think you can help me find my friend? Her name is Daxia, maybe you've seen her? She ran out of the conference room and I have no idea where she went."
Dalia nods, and begins walking back the way I cam.
"Sure, let me just as my mum. She was in the conference room, you might have met her."
I shake my head.
"No, I don't think so. My parents were in there, and my friends parents. But that's it." I say.
She looks back at me, her nose scrunched and her eyebrows pushed together.
"Your parents? I've never seen you around here." She stops walking and turns to face me.
"Yeah, I thought they were dead, turns out they weren't. Cora and John Naites." I say.
"Right, Lola's brother. She told me about you." She says, nodding her head.
"If Mr. and Mrs. Naites were in there, then my parents were too. Perhaps you've already met them? Arthur and Ava Felleman."
I stare at her.
"Felleman? You're the Felleman's daughter?" I ask.
She nods, smiling.
"How old are you?" I ask.
"I'm eighteen, why?" She asks, crossing her arms over her chest.
My mind starts spinning.
"When is your birthday?" I ask her.
She scowls at me.
"Why do you want to know?" She asks.
"Please, just answer my question." I beg.
