Grace

I'm laying on one of the beds in the room. James is still in the other room, probably with Daxia. Sebastian is sitting on the bed farthest away from me, with his head in his hands. He's been sitting like that ever since Daxia slammed the door in his face, which he kind of deserves.

"What's wrong with you?" I ask, turning over onto my left side so that I'm facing him.

He raises his head and looks at me, before standing up and pacing around the room.

"Pacing is a sign of anxiety." I push myself up and swing my legs over until they reach the ground.

"Daxia is mad at me." He says.

I stand up but I don't walk any closer to him.

"Well yeah, you keep leading her on and then going back to Lola. I'd be pretty angry at you too." I walk into one of the bathroom and turn on the faucet. I cup water in my hands and use it to wash my face. I reach over and pick up a white towel and pat my face dry. When I look back up, Sebastian is in the doorway. I turn the faucet off and run my fingers through my hair.

"I don't know what I feel for her." Sebastian says.

"About Lola or about Daxia?" I ask, looking at my reflection instead of him.

"Both." He replies.

I finish tying my hair up into a bun at the top of my head and then I turn to look at him.

"If you're leading on Daxia because you don't want to hurt her feelings and tell her the truth, then you're a dick. If you're using Lola in order to hide your feelings for Daxia, you're a dick. If you don't like either of them, well you're an even bigger dick. So either way you look at it, you're a dick Sebastian." I walk past him and step back into the room.

"So what do I do?" He asks.

I sit down on the bed, and pull my boots back on, tying the laces.

"You take a step back, from both of them and you figure out what you feel and what you want. And then once you've figured that out, then you go get her, whether that be Lola or Daxia or someone totally different. But you can't keep stringing two people along because you aren't sure about your feelings. It's not fair to you or to them." I stand up, and untuck my shirt, smoothing it out.

Sebastian is nodding and staring at the floor.

"Yeah, you're right. Thanks, Grace. You have really good advice." He says.

I nod.

"I wanted to be a therapist." I say.

Sebastian grins.

"You would've made a good one."

I'm about to say something else, but I'm interrupted by a chiming noise. It sounds a bit like wind chimes, but played in a specific pattern, where each sound is higher than the previous one. I look up at the ceiling and notice a small speaker.

"What does that mean?" I ask.

I hear a knock at the door that connects to the next room and I walk over and pull it open. Angelo stands there. I smile at him and he smiles back at me, reaching over to pull on a curl that has gotten loose from my bun.

"Time for lunch." He says.

I take his hand and we step through the door, but I stop and look back at Sebastian.

"Are you coming?" I ask.

He hesitates for a moment, and tries to peer into the other room.

"Daxia already left, don't worry." Angelo says.
