"Okay so what exactly are we looking for?" Lola asks.
We walk into the room and I go straight to the shelves and pull down the box with the books. I open it and pull them all out, laying them out on the floor and kneeling in front of them.
"Anything about Leviathans and how to kill them, anything about teleportation powers or pure demons or anything that might help us," I say.
Lola walks over and kneels down in front of me, and reaches for a book.
"Do you think they'll be okay? You know, Lincoln and them," She says.
I look up at her and reach over, putting a hand on her arm.
"They're all going to be fine. Daxia is going to be fine," I assure.
"I didn't say Daxia," She mumbles, flipping through the book.
"I know, but I know what you meant," I say.
I pick up one of the books and begin flipping through it again. It seems to be a book on ancestry or something. It talks about the first of every creature. I flip through the pages until I find the one on Leviathans and I almost faint.
"Lola..." I say.
I look up at her, and she looks up from her book.
"What's wrong?" She asks, seeing my face.
"Everything. Everything in very wrong," I say.
"What do you mean?" She asks.
I look down at the book and read aloud.
"The original Leviathan came from the Levi family. It was the first of it's kind, and once it was realized that these creatures were dangerous, they were banished to remote lakes or lagoons. Over the years, however, Leviathans gained the ability to shapeshift into humans and were able to once again roam the earth. They made it their mission to kill every pure demon, as they are the only ones who can kill them,"
I look up at Lola who looks in shock. Then I turn the book towards her.
"There's a picture of the first Leviathan," I say.
She takes the book from me, examining the picture.
"Is that..."
"Alexander? Yeah, it is," I say.
She hands the book back to me and takes a deep breath.
"Okay, Sebastian has to know this now. If he got into his mind, he knows. Now we just have to figure out another way to stop him," She says.
She flips through her book again, and I look around and pick up another one, on poisons. We flip through pages quickly for a few seconds, before Lola says something.
"I think I found something," She says.
"Twins in the supernatural world are both extremely rare and extremely dangerous. They are usually split up at birth or kept hidden away from as many people as possible. Because the only way to create twins is if one parent is full demon and one parent is full angel, it was forbidden for the two different species to mix. Anyone who broke this rule, and had twins was punished. Twins are extremely powerful in the supernatural world, as they can naturally channel each other, and they are naturally linked to each other as well. When working together, they are able to defeat any creature, although this usually does not work out because of the fact that demons and angels can't help but fight and disagree with each other, especially when they are bonded as twins are," She reads.
