Angelo
"So, do you really think that the council is going to help us with any of this?" I ask Lola as we're walking silently down the hall. It's relatively calm, so I don't think that anyone besides us and a few other important people are aware of the fact that we have been transported to who knows where.
"I doubt it, but it can't hurt to try," She mumbles.
I turn to her and watch as she pulls her long blonde hair into a ponytail and then pulls on it for a while before letting all fall back around her like a shampoo commercial.
"Hey, I know you're worried about Daxia and Lincoln but they'll be fine," I say.
Lola stops walking and turns to look at me, confused.
"Who said anything about Daxia? Why would I be worried about her? She hates me," Lola snaps.
I raise my eyebrow at her.
"I'm not blind Lola. I'm also not completely stupid, contrary to popular belief. I see things, and I pick up on things. Like the fact that you're in love with Daxia," I say.
"Who the hell said anything about love?" Lola asks, rolling her eyes extra dramatically.
I shake my head and continue walking towards the conference room, where we are hoping to find the members of the council. I keep walking, and as I near the door I suddenly hear fast footsteps coming from behind us. I turn around and peer down the hall. Lola hears it too and backs up against the wall.
"Angelo! Lola!" I hear a voice call.
I look over at Lola, whose bright green eyes are narrowed in confusion. Then I turn around and look back down the hallway as someone comes running down the corner.
"Dalia?" I ask.
I walk over to her, and I see Lola follow me out of my peripheral vision.
"What's going on?" I ask.
I walk up to Dalia, who is out of breath. Her hair is up in some sort of weird knot on her head, with loose strands falling around her face and the back of her neck. She's wearing what appears to be nurse scrubs. She leans on the fall for a second before looking up at me.
"Grace, she's, I don't know. James choked her, only it wasn't James. It was Alexander controlling James. Byron told me everything and sent me down there to help Grace with James, but when I got there, I saw him choking her and then she fell to the ground and I freaked and came to find you," She explains in a hurry.
I look over at Lola, who stares at me with wide eyes, but her expression quickly changes to angry. She rolls her eyes and then turns back to Dalia, pulling a hand on her hip.
"You left James up there alone? While Alexander is in control of his body?" She snaps at Dalia.
Dalia shakes her head and pulls something out of her pocket. It's a syringe and empty one.
"Of course not, that would be idiotic. I tranquilized him," She says.
Lola raises her eyebrows and nods.
"Well, that works," She says.
"We need to go back," I say.
Lola looks at me and nods. We all turn around and sprint down the hall and back towards the elevator. I step in first, and as soon as Dalia is in I punch the button for the training room over and over.
"Angelo, chill!" Lola says, reaching out to stop my arm.
"If Grace is-" I stop, not being able to bring myself to say it.
