"Remind me again why we're not telling anyone that you are literally the only people here who can save them?" I ask.

I watch as Daxia rolls over onto her side, and looks over at me.

"Because I'm pissed. And also petty, and I don't want my parents to know that I can save them," She replies.

I nod, pulling my chin up over the top part of the doorframe for the seventeenth- or is it eighteenth?-time. Once I get to twenty, I let go and drop to the floor, out of breath.

"That was lame," Daxia says.

I look over at her, as she swings her legs over the side of the bed and stands up. I notice that she grimaces a bit as she puts her weight on her feet.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask.

I watch as she holds onto her thigh and nods.

"Are you lying?" I ask.

Daxia looks up at me, and then looks around the room before she nods.

"I'm fine, I just, I don't know. I think I'm still healing, sometimes my thigh still hurts," She says.

I sit up, and then push myself up to my feet.

"How bad is it?" I ask.

"It's not bad, it just surprises me," She says.

I nod, and look over as the door opens and Byron pokes his head through the door.

"We've got a problem," He says.

"Yeah, the problem would be you," Daxia replies.

Byron grins at her.

"I appreciate the humor princess, but this is more of a life and death situation," He says.

I walk over and open the door the rest of the way, letting him in.

"Okay, so what is it?" I ask.

"The Leviathan's are getting close. We picked them up on our security cameras. My father thinks that they're going to attack. We need your help," He says turning to Daxia.

"I thought we agreed that we weren't going to tell anyone about the fact that Nicholas, Lincoln and I can save them," Daxia says.

"Who says I told anyone?" Byron asks.

"So what? You're sneaking them out?" I ask.

"I'm sneaking you out, I need you guys to check the area, but we need to send out more people to cover more ground," he says.

"So what's the plan, genius?" Daxia asks.

"I'm sending out three groups: you two, Lincoln and James, and Nicholas and Sebastian. Alexander will monitor the security cameras in the control room. And I'll monitor entrances to make sure you don't get caught. I'll make sure my father doesn't send anyone else out there," He explains.

I look over at Daxia who nods at me.

"Sounds good," I say. "When do we leave?"

"Now," He says.

He walks out of the room and I follow him, along with Daxia. We walk through the halls quickly and we stop as Byron opens a door. He pulls out two swords and hands one to me and one to Daxia. We take them, and then continue walking. We step into the elevator and go all the way up, to the tunnels. When we step off, Nicholas, James, Sebastian and Lincoln are already there.

"Alright, now remember: we just need you to scan the area. Try not to be seen, and whatever you do, don't split up," Byron says.

I nod, and we all walk off towards the ladder. Daxia goes first, climbing to the top and then pushing the door open and climbing out. We follow behind her, one at a time. When we're all out, I look back to see the door close and disappear. We all stand and look around at each other.
