Grace
Nobody has said anything since they took away Ava. We all just sit around silently, not really even looking at each other. I'm still gripping Angelo's hand.
"Wow, being around you all is like getting front row seats to a soap opera," I look over at Alexander, who is now conscious.
"Are you ever going to shut up?" Daxia snaps.
I watch as he rolls his head around, and attempts to stretch out his legs.
"No, that doesn't really sound like me," He replies.
"Okay that's it," I look over at Sebastian, who grabs a chair and sits down in front of Alexander.
"You can't read my mind, I'm a Leviathan," Alexander says.
"I'm not going to read your mind. I'm going to torture you," Sebastian says.
I look up at Angelo who narrows his eyes at Sebastian. I look back to see him.
"I don't think that's such a good idea," Angelo says.
"Do you have a better one?" Sebastian asks.
I look at Angelo, as he looks around the room at everyone before looking at me.
"No," He replies.
"I do," I say.
Everyone turns to look at me.
"The books. There has to be something in there that could tell us about him," I say, motioning to Alexander.
"Or I could tell you myself," He replies.
"You're lying," Daxia snaps.
"No. I'm not. You might not remember your past lives, but I do. And now that I figured out which Original you are, I remember everything," He says.
"Why would you tell us what we need to know?" Sebastian asks.
"Because I'm going to make you a deal. If you keep me here, as a prisoner or whatever, I'll tell you everything that I know," He replies.
"Why would you want to be kept prisoner?" I ask him.
He looks over at me.
"Because I just happened to remember that something really bad is going to happen. Something that I wouldn't be able to stop even if I had my powers. And I don't feel like dying," He replies.
"My father is not going to let us keep him here," Byron says.
"He doesn't have to," Daxia says.
"We can keep him in the other Headquarters,"
I look at her confused.
"The other Headquarters?" I ask.
"Yeah, we created another in order to stop all the magic from stripping from the city," Lincoln explains.
"You created a second Headquarters? And it's still here?" Byron asks.
"Yeah, why?" Daxia asks.
"You need to go somewhere else then, You can't have two Headquarters in the same city. It'll cause all the creatures to get too powerful and soon no one will be able to control themselves," He replies.
"Then we'll take Alexander and go somewhere else," Sebastian says.
"We?" Daxia asks.
"Anyone who wants to come along," Sebastian says standing up.
I look at Angelo who nods.
"We're going," I say.
"Me too," James says.
"So am I," Byron says, to my surprise.
I look over at Neil and Dalia, who are still in the room.
"I'm going. I don't wanna be here," Neil says.
"And you guys?" Sebastian asks, looking at Lincoln and Lola.
"I'm going," Lincoln says.
"I'm not," Lola says at the same time.
Lincoln looks over at her and nods.
"Alright then, let's get out of here," Daxia says.
