Lincoln

"How could you possibly know something like that?" I ask Nicholas.

He steps into the room and then closes the door behind him. I watch as he walks over and sits down on the bed, smoothing out a few hairs that have escaped his bun.

"Nicholas knows everything," Daxia points out.

She walks over at sits down next to Nicholas, and faces him, waiting for his further explanation.

"Well, Alexander is the first ever Leviathan. He was the first of his kind to ever be created by the Purities. They created one Vampire, one Leuidine, one Archangel, one Werewolf, one Warlock, one Witch, and one Nephilim. The Original Seven," He says.

I walk over and stand in front of him and Daxia.

"Right, there are seven super old creatures running around who become reincarnated once they've lived out an average length human life. They also get their memories wiped every time and none of them remembers who they are," I say, remembering that my father once taught me most of this.

Nicholas nods.

"None except for Alexander, that is," He says.

"What do you mean? Why is it different for him?" Daxia asks.

"Well, out of all of the Original Seven, Alexander and his kind are by far the most dangerous. Leviathans aren't affected by the Protection Spell placed upon the Archangels. Magic rarely ever works on them, and they are almost impossible to kill. When the Leviathan was created, the Purities thought that they would be able to control to species; use it to fight other evils. But they soon realized that even their magic could not control this creature," Nicholas stands up and begins pacing around the room like a teacher.

"Because they were not able to use magic to alter the Leviathan species, they used magic to alter the other six original creatures. They gave them pure demon blood and made them the only creatures who could kill Leviathans," He says.

He stops pacing and looks at us.

"So what? We're three of the seven?" Daxia asks.

Nicholas shakes his head.

"No, that wouldn't make any sense considering that we are all of the same species. But, we come from some kind of descendants of the original Leuidine or the original Archangel. Over the years, the pure demon trait was passed down and few creatures receive it. But if Alexander was looking for the other six, he might be able to track them through us," Nicholas says.

I shake my head in confusion.

"Okay, but what does this have to do with you knowing that Alexander isn't dead?" I ask.

"If one of the original seven dies, every single one of its kind dies along with it. Which means that all of the Leviathans would be dead. And they are most certainly not," He replies.

"Okay, so why was I able to hear him in James's head, and how did he get in there?" Daxia asks.

"It's called a Limbo. Leviathans can do it to themselves and to others. When a Leviathan does it to themselves, they need someone extremely powerful to kill them. And when they do, they are able to put themselves into their killers head. I'm guessing that he put himself inside of James because of James's strength. Anyone else would've died, and killed Alexander," Nicholas replies, walking over to us again

"Limbo? That's a weird thing to call something so complex," I say.

"It's called Limbo because it means that Alexander was in between life and death, only he was able to interact with our world," Nicholas replies.
