Something New
Loren was feeling mighty blue
She just wasn't sure what to do
She started singing a sad sweet song
About the Sheriff
Was she so wrong?
He all but told her to move along.
Now she's laid up
with an ankle bum
In her head the tune she'd hum
Sad when he didn't come
To even ask about her none
Doc prescribed some fresh air
So she sat out there
Lost in thoughts and tunes
It was nearly noon
She was drawn from her thought
By a most tempting smell
And AJ...
"Come and sit a spell."
AJ offered her a delicious meal
He told her how he did feel
It would seem they felt the same
Both nursing broken hearts
What a shame.
The noodles were a delight
She enjoyed every bite
Her heart felt much more light
Giving her a new insight.
