Gordita's Demise
AJ crept towards the gate,
As Billy followed close.
They had to take out both the guards,
They had no time to lose.
The baker signaled with his fist,
The time to strike has come.
Billy gave him a little nod,
"C'mon, let's get this done."
With quick and steady, lethal steps.
Both men approached the guards.
AJ employed his deadly fists.
While Billy used his brawn.
The guards were out, without a fuss,
Outclassed, as clear as day.
AJ helped Billy, tied them tight,
There's no chance for escape.
Both men went in, Billy up-front,
To look for the madam.
Her name's Gordita, and she's fierce,
She's second in command.
They saw her in a bedroom,
Putting rouge upon a girl.
They saw her force the girl to drink,
A pint of alcohol.
With what they saw, both men stormed in,
With Billy's gun drawn out.
But she was fast, and trained her gun,
Upon the poor girl's back.
"Don't think of stepping closer,
Whoever you both are.
Make one mistake, this girl is dead,
I'll shoot her in the heart."
The men both stopped upon their tracks,
As the girl began to cry.
"Please sirs, just do as madam says,
I do not want to die."
The baker looked at Billy,
who gave a knowing look.
AJ then raised up both his hands,
And prepared to move his foot.
As quick as lightning, AJ kicked,
The girl flew far from harm.
Gordita screamed, in her surprise,
Loosed a bullet from her gun.
But Billy's hand was ready,
His aim was quick and true.
A shot rang out, the cordite flashed,
She was dead before she knew.
AJ then ran to check the girl,
To see if she's okay.
"I'm sorry, miss, I had to kick,
I saw no other way."
The girl stood up, and dried her eyes,
Sincerely thanking both.
She then let out a little gasp,
And to Billy, she pointed out.
"There's blood upon your sleeves, sir.
Your arm is bleeding much."
AJ then asked if he's alright,
Billy answered, "just a scratch."
The trio then heard hurried steps,
As Rue had walked in quick.
She saw Gordita, dead and cold,
And the blood on Billy's sleeve.
AJ helped lead the young girl out,
Left the couple on their own.
He then helped Unger load the girl,
Saw the wagon head for home.
The baker waited patiently,
Until the pair came out.
He smiled at both, and rolled his sleeves,
"For banditos, let's go hunt."
