Behind Enemy Lines
It was at half past midnight,
While the whole tent city slept.
Both Rue and Gyn had made their way,
To the place where the girls were kept.
The house was found at the edge of town,
Surrounded by a wall.
Two men stood guard at the open gate,
Both looked strong, and very tall.
"How do we get inside that house?"
Ruechari quickly asked.
Gyn motioned her to follow quiçk,
"There's a small gate at the back."
The ladies went around the wall,
And found the smaller gate.
It was unused, with a rusty lock,
It would open with one hit.
Rue picked a rock, and hit the lock
At three strikes, lock was loose.
She then told Gyn to keep the lock,
Then gave the gate a push.
The ladies stealthily entered,
With Gyn quick on the lead.
Ruechari counted thirteen men,
Plus Tex Mex, makes fourteen.
Gyn then pointed to the rooms.
Where there girls were locked away.
Rue then took note of the quickest route,
When the time came for escape.
With their mission done, the ladies left,
The same way they came in.
Ruechari took the rusty lock,
And reattached it to the gate.
"Don't worry, Gyn, we'll get them out."
Rue reassured the teen.
They then both headed back to town,
To report on what they've seen.
