e p i l o g u e (pt. 2)

Sam's POV:

"Here she is!" The doctor said excitedly.

I heard the cries of my newborn daughter. I let a tear fall down my cheek as Logan loosened her tight grip on my hand.

I watched as Gemma was laid on Logan's chest. Logan was breathing heavy, sweating but, smiling.

After a moment they took Gemma away to get her cleaned up.

"I love you." I said to Logan, kissing her temple as I pushed the hair from her face.

"I love you, Sammy." She nodded breathlessly.

"Okay, Mr. Wilkinson, would you like to hold your baby girl?" The nurse asked, brining Gemma in, who was wrapped up in a pink blanket.

I gulped and nodded my head. She hand her over to me and I instantly fell completely in love. It was the same feeling I had when I first saw Jayce. I leaned down and softly kissed her little forehead.

"Is that Baby G?" I heard Jayce's voice from the door as he walked in.

I nodded and slid over for him to sit next to me.

"Do you want to hold her?" I asked him, as the rest of the group came in.

When I say everyone was there, I mean everyone. Skate, Swazz, the Jack's, Tez, Rocco, Savannah, and my family.

"Hi, Baby G. I love you very much." Jayce whispered, kissing her forehead as my mom took pictures.

"Nona, do you want to see her?" Jayce asked. My mom nodded and picked her up from Jayce's arms.

I watched as my daughter was passed around, meeting her family.

We let Logan feed her when it came time.

I held her in my arms, watching as she opened her eyes, yawning a little. As she looked up at me I felt my heart burst.

Gemma Ashton Wilkinson already has me wrapped around her little finger. I vow that I will protect her with every power within me. The same goes for Jayce and Logan.

"Jayce Thomas!" My dad said sternly, stopping Jayce from messing with equipment. He was so damn ornery.

After a while, everyone left and it was just Logan, Jayce, Gemma and I left in the hospital room.

This is my entire world. Right here. The only people I'll need. They each own every bit of my heart. They are my entire life.

I will always be protective of them.
