Undyne takes Asreil's attack and stays standing. However, the blow takes a fourth of her health. She can't keep this up for long.
She can't FIGHT, Asreil is a good person, she can't hurt him. Undyne checks her items. She has no useful healing items, so she's stuck with four turns to reason with Asreil.
Undyne ACTs, she can plead, reason, or call out for help.
Undyne tries to reason with Asreil.
"Asreil," she explains, "Frisk has DETERMINATION, and killing me won't change that."
"Don't listen to her lies," Chara demands, "we can break Frisk. Just stay DETERMINED."
"No," Asreil smirks, "but killing them again and again will."
Asreil attacks once more. Undyne's HP is just over half.
Undyne chooses to plead.
"Asreil," she begs, "please, don't kill me. This isn't right and you know it. Killing me is pointless anyways. You know Frisk will just RESET."
"That's the point," Asreil replies, "I kill you, and keep killing them."
Asreil attacks once more.
She has about a fourth of her HP.
Undyne doesn't want to call for help. She can handle this, she doesn't need help. She's a warrior! She FIGHTs!
...
But she can't FIGHT. Not now. This is different, complicated. There's a way to save both Frisk and Chara, and all she has to do is find it. To do that, she does need help...
Undyne swallows her pride and calls out for help.
Asreil attacks once more, leaving Undyne with only a sliver of HP left.
Frisk reaches the next save point and SAVEs, just before hearing a cry for help. They realize they just SAVEd, so if they die, whatever. If Undyne dies though...
They dash back towards Waterfall...
