The world was a swirl of inky blackness, flecks of red scattered throughout as Usagi floated aimlessly in her conscience, the images haunting her– burning themselves into her eyes.

"Everyone, hurry!! Get Tsuki some water!!"

"Here, and a blanket for Sachiko."

"Will she be alright?! Is Usagi going to be okay?!"

"I don't think this is safe..."

"What choice do we have?!"

There was a shift in the atmosphere, her vision crumbling as a new display was painted before her.

"Mama, Usagi hurt me again!"

"I did not, Sachiko!"

"It's okay Sachiko, I don't think Usagi meant to– she probably just did it again."

"She should get a beating..."

Another change, a sinister atmosphere.

"Usagi, what did you do?!?!"

"I don't know! I'm sorry!"

"Usagi... y-you killed her..."

"I didn't mean to, I swear!! Chi, it's not my fault!! CHI!!"

There was a sound, like hearing voices from underwater. A white light began to fade into her surroundings as the final voices erupted into the swell.

"I should never have saved your life, Usagi."

"You were always the mistake."

"Sometimes it's hard to look her in the eyes..."

"RUN, USAGI!!"

Eyelids flashing open, Usagi tried focusing her eyes on the spinning ceiling, pain bursting throughout her entire body.

"Usagi, are you okay?"

Hearing the voice startled her at first, but she soon recognized its speaker.

"Usagi, calm down," she heard Killua say, though he sounded far away.

Groaning, she tried to sit up but immediately stiffened from the bursting pain in her sides and leg.

"No no no don't move. Leorio, she's up!" She felt his hands fumble around as he tried to push her back down against some pillows.

Leorio walked over, shocked as he said, "I thought it'd take her longer to wake up."

"What... happened...?" Usagi mumbled, head pounding.

"Hanzo punched you really hard on the head in the final seconds of the match. Actually, it's riled up a bunch of controversy because technically the fight was over and he had no reason to hit you."

"Yes he did, Hotaru was controlling him." At the thought of her Usagi instinctively flinched.

"... I think you'll be fine though. You woke up much sooner than we thought," Leorio concluded as her eyes adjusted onto them both.

"How long was I asleep?"

"Two days."

Usagi tried to get up, but not only was she met with a fierce pain but the two of them rapidly pushing down on her, urging her to stop.

"Usagi, you broke your leg in that fight, along with bruising your ribs. You shouldn't move like that!" Killua warned her.

"What all happened in that fight?" Usagi asked as she leaned back, breathing heavily.
