Stick around until the end for important announcements!!!

The group of five stood in front of the doorway leading outside, each prepped and ready for the hectic days ahead.

"To recap," Chi began, pointing at Leorio tentatively, "You'll be receiving the medical supplies later today, and will be setting up in this room–" she pointed to a spare room down the hall with the bathroom "– with Alluka to help you.

"Kurapika will drive Killua and I to the bridge leading to the island, where we will infiltrate and get Usagi out of there. You'll drive us back and then the real fun will begin." Chi rubbed her hands together, looking from person to person.

"Be safe, you three," Leorio told them, Alluka nodding vigorously.

"We'll try," Kurapika answered for them.

Without another word, the three left the house, Kurapika opening the door to the driver's seat as Chi and Killua sat beside each other in the back. Leorio and Alluka watched solemnly as the group pulled out of the driveway before beginning their journey.

For quite some time, they were silent, watching the scenery fly by or the interior of the car as they drove along highways. The sun was high above them when Killua broke the silence. "Chi, how come I've never heard of you before?"

Surprised by the question and the broken silence, Chi glanced at him before continuing to look outside, head resting against her knuckles. "I'm not sure. She probably has a reason, and if I had to guess I would say it was because of Sachiko. No doubt you know about her," Chi started, looking at Killua towards the end.

He nodded, and she continued. "She may not have wanted you to think I was like her, or that maybe I was against her." Chi cracked a smile. "We've always been close."

"Yeah? How so?" Killua asked, genuinely curious.

"Well, I taught her how to cook, though the reason why is a story all on its own." She laughed lightly, continuing to look outside wistfully. "Though if I'm completely honest, I think I could've been better," Chi admitted, frowning lightly.

Killua watched her with piercingly blue eyes before lowering his head. "I know I could've been a better friend, too."

Chi's eyebrows raised, having caught her off guard. "Kid, I can tell you right now that she thinks the world of you– she could barely stop talking about you, and it made me realize how pitiful it is that she's found love before I have." Chi let out another light laugh.

Killua was silent for a moment before saying, "I just hope she'll be okay so we can sort this out."

Countenance turning grim, Chi clasped his shoulder and said, "I'm sure she will be."

Silence returning, Chi and Killua resumed looking out of the window for several more hours, only stopping for gas so they could keep on going.

The sky was a deep orange hue with a tint of pinks and red highlights, wispy clouds flowing in the foreground as the colors grew into darkened shades of navy to the east, the moon beginning to rise.

"Chi," Killua began, hand clenching against his knee as the other supported his cheek as he gazed outside. She turned her head to look at him. "I want to know why there's an arranged marriage between me and Sachiko."

Looking down at her hands, she clasped them on her lap as she carefully chose her words. "I don't think that's something you should be worried about–"

"Why? So I can worry and be anxious for the next two or three years until it happens and I have no idea why? I want you to tell me, Chi."
