On the morning of Usagi and Killua's fight in Battle Royale, the two had a sudden awakening by none other than their biggest fan.

As Leorio leaned over the couch they had slept on, he focused his phone's camera to get the perfect shot until-

Killua had already flicked his hand up and knocked the device out of his hands and flying through the air before landing on the ground. He glared at Leorio, menacingly.

"What the hell," Killua said through gritted teeth, more as a statement than a question.

"You're adorable~" Leorio replied before their attention was drawn to Usagi, who still had her arms wrapped around him and her head resting on his chest like a pillow, as she squeezed him tighter and nuzzled deeper.

"Stooooop," Usagi mumbled, obviously tired.

Immediately growing flustered, Killua shook her shoulder. "This is just like that time with Kite and Gon..."

"Usagi, you have to get up," he pleaded, trying to hold composure.

"I refuse."

Killua and Leorio immediately stopped moving when Alluka's door opened, her footsteps echoing in the halls. His attempts to move Usagi growing frantic.

"Usagi, please, Alluka can't-"

"Sssshhhhhh," she let out, awkwardly shoving her finger onto his lips mid-sentence.

"The lady has spoken," Leorio said, grinning mischievously at their predicament.

As Alluka walked in on the scene, her half opened eyes glossed over the three of them before she groggily walked on, yawning as she went. Killua grew flustered as Leorio snickered and Usagi slept.

Finally, Usagi lifted her head slowly before attempting to stand; she saw stars, and yawned from too much movement. "Hey," was all she said before walking to the bathroom to clean up.

As she shut the door behind her, the two males in the living area watched her every movement before looking at each other.

"You're so mean to me," Killua told him as he stood up as well.

"I'm preparing you for the real world, Killua. It's also mean."

Later that morning, the group prepared for Killua and Usagi's fights, both of which were separate, before walking over to the arena. Killua had his fight first, and had to go into a different room because of it. As they walked through the halls on the bottom floor, he tossed a glance in Usagi's direction, and in response she smiled sideways at him; the two broke away when a wall crossed between them.

The three of them walked up to one of the top rows to sit together, and along the way saw none other than Hanzo. As they sat down, Usagi noticed something was different about the way he held himself, the stare of someone who was observing in great detail, and how he didn't seem very responsive.

She shrugged off the thought as the round began.

As the announcer called out the names of the contestants, her heart fell to her stomach when she saw Killua; he looked confident, but vigilant as he stepped out into the open. He just had to be one of the final three standing, and he'd be fine.

Usagi's shoulders tensed when the fifteen second countdown to the start began. Noticing, Leorio put a hand over her shoulder and have her a reassuring look before returning his attention to the match.

The screech of the buzzer announced the start, and instantly the Hunters went after each other. Killua had immediately picked out the weakest person to attack, and had rendered him incapable of fighting in a matter of seconds with little to no trouble at all; Usagi watched on, her golden eyes glued to his every move.
