Hello! I know I haven't posted in forever, and that's a huge issue, but I'm getting back into it and already have almost ten chappies ready to post :D but enough rambling, the reason for this quick note is to let you know that a lot is going on in this chapter that won't make sense and won't have any of the shock value I'm hoping for if you don't remember what's going on, so I highly recommend reading the previous two to three chappies to catch up :3 thanks!!

Usagi looked up at the cat woman, exclaiming her name with such astonishment and relief she could practically feel the weight beginning to leave her shoulders.

"Chi... it's been so long," Usagi fumbled for words, looking at the lady.

"I know, right?" Chi agreed, talking as though they knew each other well. "How long has it been? Five years?"

"Yeah, barely," Usagi breathed, rolling her eyes. She pushed her bag off of the seat next to her and patted it. Chi sat beside her. "I'm just really happy to see you. There's so much to say..."

"And it can wait, hopefully, because I really just want to look at you and see how much you've grown," Chi admitted, growing a motherly tone. "You look so much older!!"

"I always knew you acted more like a mother than a sister." She pushed away Chi's hand gently as she tried to pet her face, so instead she ruffled her bangs.

"How can I help myself? I'm seven years older than you– I could pass off as your mom." Chi laughed. "But, in all seriousness, how've you been, kiddo? You look kinda down."

"That's because I am, Brosky." Usagi remembered what she had said earlier and thought she might puke.

Chi grew silent and folded her hands in her lap as she looked at the roof of the train car. She put an arm around Usagi's shoulders and squeezed.

"It'll be okay. I promise," Chi reassured, and Usagi nodded. Though Chi wasn't so sure...

"What are you doing here?" Usagi asked, not to be rude but because of genuine curiosity.

"I was watching you for Sachiko," Chi answered, not holding anything back. She was very genuine, and Usagi liked that about her only good sister.

"What do you think will happen when we get there?" Usagi's hands clenched on her lap.

Looking forward, Chi was silent for a moment. "I honestly have no idea," she answered, shaking her head slowly. "My turn for questions: how'd you leave the house with those three? I forget their names..."

She didn't forget– Chi was just trying to distract Usagi, who didn't catch onto her smooth trickery.

"The old one's Leorio, the little girl's Alluka, and the one with the fluffy white hair is Killua," Usagi described, her voice tightening at the mention of his name. "And I only got away by thoroughly breaking his heart and stomping it into the ground before throwing the pieces into the ocean and fishing out those pieces and then chopping them up into even more pieces and then–"

"I get it," Chi interrupted her, placing a hand on her knee. "I'm sure it'll turn out okay. I'm assuming you didn't mean what you said– you were probably just scared."

"I was. You read me like a book, Chi... am I a thriller?"

"Comedy, I think."

"Dammit. Crap, I mean... Hoover Dam," Usagi corrected. "I'm trying to end my cursing habit because Leorio, the little shizlet, thinks I sound like I'm nine."

Chi laughed out loud at this. "Ironically, you said your first bad word at nine."

"And you remember this how?"
