The room was dark, cold, and was wet with water and blood. Usagi, having been trapped for nearly two months, was long since broken, Sachiko having pried open her mind and torn her sanity in half.

The girl sat crumpled on the floor, her wrists fettered behind her and ankles to the floor. She had lost weight, her ribs and collarbone standing out like twigs to be snapped; her hair was matted with blood and dirt, and was down to her hips.

"My," Sachiko breathed, standing on the opposite side of the room to pick which weapon to use next. "There's just so many from which to choose... I believe this one is lovely, though you've already seen it a number of times," she mused, twirling the objects in her hands.

Usagi merely looked up at her with dead eyes, breathing labored and shaky through cracked lips.

"Hmm, no response? I do suppose I bruised your trachea a few... how long ago was it? I forgot," she sneered, looking at Usagi with scarlet eyes.

"Days, weeks, months... there's no difference."

"That's rather rude, Usagi, not answering when I ask you a question. I guess that calls for an extra punishment."

Sachiko whirled on her heels, forgetting the weapons on a table behind her. Crouching down, she growled, "Looks like I'm going back in your head."

Stepping on Usagi's small shadow, Sachiko disappeared in a whirl of ink and darkness, reappearing in a murky red scene with Usagi in the center, though she was standing.

"I wonder, how much more before you snap entirely? I believe I'm rather close," Sachiko pondered, tapping her lips.

Usagi remained silent, despite being able to talk.

Out of nowhere, Sachiko roundhouse kicked Usagi in the stomach, causing her to double over in pain as she struggled to stay standing before Sachiko kicked her back to cause her to fall on her knees.

Stepping in front of Usagi and crouching onto her level, Sachiko placed a hand on Usagi's head as she began to prod again, her eyes growing darker in hue as Usagi began to sob.

"I want to hear you beg," Sachiko said, void of emotions.

Usagi held her tongue– she wouldn't stop regardless.

Sachiko pressed harder into Usagi's tenples, causing the girl to gasp and open her eyes widely.

Diving into her subconscious, Sachiko resurfaced memories of her friends, including Killua.

"Isn't it awful?" Sachiko cooed, her voice dripping honey. "They never came to rescue you... pitiful, and you claimed he loved you.

"I should've known there wasn't a threat to have you around my Killu, it was just really damn annoying."

Usagi squeezed her eyes shut as tears formed.

"You can't escape, Usagi. I'm right here, in your mind, and there's nothing you can do."

Usagi's eyes clenched shut as her brows furrowed together, lips drawn back and teeth grinding together as she tried to tell herself it was all a lie– Sachiko was lying to her– but no matter how much she did, she just couldn't keep kidding herself anymore.

Tears overflowed down her drained cheeks and fell in droplets onto her hands, fingers grasping onto her knees for support.

"Hmm?" Sachiko cooed, chin tilting up as she looked down and glared at her sister, the girl's red lips curling at the ends. "Say it, Usagi. You know the words."

Her mouth opened, but her throat continued to clench shut, preventing her from speaking as her lips labored to form the words. Instead, she let out whimpers.
