The entirety of the Hunters and spectators were gathered to watch Chairman Cheadle Yorkshire speak of the events that transpired the week before. Everyone was on the edge of their seats, whether they were physically there, listening on the radio, or watching it on live streams around the world.

"I assure you that the Hunter Association has the situation under control – the explosion was merely a malfunction of insulation and streaming in the arena's interior walls.

"Unfortunate as the circumstances may be, only minor injuries occurred and zero casualties. Nonetheless, Battle Royale will be called off due to the situation not being fully resolved, as the source of the problem has yet to be calculated.

"Due to this turn of events the leading ten competitors will be rewarded substantially as an apology, and spectators will receive a refund. The list of compensated Pro Hunters reads as follows..."

Hanzo was on the list.

But so was Killua.

Usagi froze as Killua nearly choked on his drink, Leorio having clapped his shoulder suddenly as Alluka applauded ecstatically.

Continuing with her speech, Cheadle stated, "With that issue explained I must apologize once more. However, there isn't enough time to explain how deeply concerned I am about what happened. There are more important topics to discuss.

"The band of Pro Hunter pioneers have officially left on their trek to the Dark Continent, taking some of our most brilliantly minded with them. We must keep them in our minds as they set out to make history."

She pauses as the crowd applauds before continuing.

"Let's place the problems of the past behind us, and aim our sights at a brighter future! We are Pro Hunters– we will not stop until we have hunted what we desire!"

There's one final round of applause as Cheadle thanks the crowd and walks off with Biscuit and Bean at her sides.

"Killua," Usagi says, gaining the boy's attention. "Wasn't Ging on that boat to the Continent?"

"Yeah, so was Gon," Killua states in reply, earning a look of shock from the three of them.

"Ging brought his son to the Dark Continent?!" Leorio exclaims, dumbfounded.

"I always knew he was a trash dad..." Usagi sighed, shaking her head.

"Will Gon be okay?" Alluka asked, genuinely worried.

"I'm sure," Killua promised, patting the girl's head. "Trust me, it'd take a lot to kill him."

"Yeah, he's like a cock-a-roach, except not a bug and we want him alive," Usagi stated, intending to be funny.

"Cock-a-roach?" Leorio echoed, squinting at her.

"Yeah, a cock-a-roach."

"Do you mean cockroach?" Killua asked, grinning slightly.

"No," she said with a straight face, looking him in the eyes. "I call them cock-a-roaches."

"Why??" Leorio questioned.

"Because it emphasizes the word co–"

"That's enough," Killua warned, covering her mouth.

Usagi started to laugh under her breath.

Later that day the group went to a large meeting room inside the already gigantic hotel to find out what Killua would be winning as compensation. Only he was allowed inside, so the remaining three loitered outside like fools waiting for him to return.
