Chapter 14 - The Party

Veronica's POV

Today is going to be great. Earlier this week, a fan sent us an email saying that her cousin loves our videos. She asked us if we could surprise her on her birthday. We obviously replied saying that we will totally be there. Anything for our fans.
Earlier today, Nessa and I went out to buy her a present. Her cousin said she really loved Star Wars, so we got her a Star Wars shirt and signed it for her. Nessa and I are going to wear a shirt that says "Happy Birthday Abby!" Since we are twins, Nessa wanted our outfits to match. She decided that I will wear a purple skirt and she will wear a pink skirt. Finally, this whole surprised will be recorded. I bet the birthday girl will love to watch this in the future. Can't wait till tonight. Everything will be perfect.

Vanessa's POV

Roni and I are getting ready for tonight. As she finishes getting ready, I make sure we have everything. Present, check. Camera, check. Outfits, check. Alright, everything is ready to go. I call down Roni telling her we have to go. As I grab the keys, I see Roni hopping down the steps trying to put on her shoes. I shake my head laughing. Classic Roni. We both get in the car, Roni in the drivers seat.
It's been a few minutes and we are almost there. As we get closer, I get this feeling that something is going to happen. But what? I ask Roni, "Do you have a feeling like something is going to happen at the party?"
She shakes her head. "No, why?"
"I don't know. I just have this feeling like something is going to happen. Something bad," I reply.
"Nothing is going to happen, trust me," I nod my head.

We eventually get to the house. We get out of the car and I grab the present and camera from the backseat. I hand the camera to Roni and she turns it on. We walk to the door and I ring the door bell. After a few moments, the door opens.
"Omg! It's the Merrell Twins!" The girl screams.
"Surprise! Happy birthday," Roni and I say in unison. We both spread our arms to give her a hug. She does a tiny excitement dance and hugs us back. As we pull away, she grabs both of our hands and takes us to a certain person. As we get to her, she introduces us.
"Veronica and Vanessa, this is my cousin, Bella," she says.
"Hi, nice to finally meet you," Bella says as she shakes both of our hands. We shake her hand and Abby turns to Bella.
"Can you believe it? The Merrell twins are here, right in my house!" Abby exclaimed.
"Actually I can. I was the one who ask them to surprise you today," Bella responded.
"Omg, really! Thank you so much," Abby hugged Bella tightly.
"No problem," Bella hugged her back.
During their conversation, I get that same feeling I got earlier. There has to be something wrong. I tap Roni gently on the shoulder. She quickly faces me.
"I'm kinda hungry, wanna come get some food with me?" Roni nodded her head. I grabbed her hand and walked over to the snack section before Roni could say anything.
"Whoa! Slow down," I turn back to see Roni almost trip.
"Sorry," I say softly.
"What's wrong?" Roni asks when we get to the snack section.
I let go of her hand. "Roni, I got that feeling again. There has to be something wrong here. I swear!" I almost shouted the last sentence that made me the center of attention.
"Ok, just calm down," Roni looks around and spots a water bottle. She hands it to me. "Here, drink this." 
I grab the bottle and take a big gulp. I close the bottle and felt less stressed. I whisper to Roni,"Thanks." 
"Come on, let's join the party," Roni grabs my hand and takes me to a group of people dancing.
This party wasn't too crazy. It was just a bunch of people talking and dancing with friends. I also saw a small group of people in the corner just on their phones not aware of their surroundings. A certain song comes on and everyone comes to the dance area and starts dancing. Roni seems like she is enjoying the party and that calms me down. It starts getting crowded and I can't spot Roni anywhere. I continue dancing until someone bumps into me. I hear the person apologize, and turn around to see who it was.
"It's ok," I say before I look at them. When I finally see their face, I couldn't  believe it. "Tiffany!" I say.
Before I could say anything else, the girl leaves and runs away. Was that Tiffany? I see the girl run to the bathroom. I have to find Roni and tell her what happened. I knew something was up.
