Ivy's POV
"If you ask me one more time, I'll hit you," I said with a slight laugh as I finished my makeup.
"I know, I know, but I just want to be sure you're okay with me doing this. I mean the group hasn't done an interview in nearly a year. We can wait a little longer," Avi said, pulling his hair back.
"You're not backing out and you can't use the kids as an excuse. They're six months old. They'll be fine. I'm keeping them backstage so they don't get stressed out being around complete strangers," I assured him. Standing up, I approached him and wrapped my arms around him. "Don't worry so much," I said softly as I leaned up and kissed his lips gently.
He still seemed hesitant, but nodded anyway and finally pulled away. "Come on. Don't want to be late," he said, pulling me along with him as he darted into the nursery. I rolled my eyes a bit as I walked over to Athena's crib and picked her up.
"Hi there," I said softly as I grabbed her pacifier and gave it to her. A smile came to my face as she smiled and laughed a bit. "Aren't you just the cutest thing?" I said, taking her downstairs.
"What about him? Greyson deserves compliments too Mama," I heard Avi say as he followed me down.
"Calling him cute is unmanly. He's just as handsome as his daddy," I said as we walked outside and began loading them up. "Got the bag?" I asked, looking up over the car at Avi.
"In the passenger floorboard," he said with a charming smile. I opened the door and smiled when I saw the diaper bag. "Proud of me?"
"Very," I said as I climbed in and put my seatbelt on. The entire ride to the ClevverMusic studio, I was turned around, talking to and playing with Greyson and Athena, managing to keep them happy and occupied. When we arrived, we were met by the others who seemed happy we showed.
"We were beginning to worry," Mitch said as he opened the back door and began unhooking Athena. I gave him a confused look behind his back, wondering why he was acting as if she was his.
"Well with two infants and their father that worries about every little thing, it takes a while," I said with a small laugh, grabbing the bag and handing it to him. "If you don't mind, I'd like to carry my child," I told him with a teasing smile. Taking Athena, I made sure I had everything and closed the door.
He rolled his eyes as Scott walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You'll be fine," he said with a slight chuckle.
"But-"
"But nothing. She has a point. Besides we need to go get ready. We have less than half an hour," he said as we all began walking towards the door.
"Help me get them situated?" I asked Esther with a small smile. She smiled and took Greyson from Avi.
"Gladly," she said and headed inside after taking the bag from Mitch.
"Have fun, I'll be watching," I said and kissed him quickly before following her.
Avi's POV
I watched them leave, a small smile on my face as I followed the others to the staged area. I was still a bit hesitant about the whole interview thing, but it was mainly because the last time we were interviewed, I nearly got up and broke the guy's neck.
"You good bro?" Kevin asked, clapping my shoulder as a couple stagehands attached our mics to our clothes and made sure they worked.
I nodded a bit and took a deep breath. "I think so. As long as they don't insult my family again," I admitted with a small shrug.
