Ivy's POV

9 months later

"I don't know if I can do this. What if everything goes wrong? Everything we've worked so hard to achieve just goes to hell. I couldn't-"

"I thought this was my wedding. Not yours. You're not the one that's supposed to be nervous," I intervened with a small laugh. I was currently sitting in a hotel room in South Carolina with four other girls and a dramatic Queen trying to get ready while helping me get ready. It was pure chaos. Not to mention the toddler in my lap trying to grab everything on the desk in front of her.

"Mommy!" Athena exclaimed happily, grabbing one of the tubes of lipgloss.

"No sweetie. We can't have you getting dirty," I said with a small laugh taking it from her. "You want to look pretty don't you?" She shook her head no. "But if you're pretty, people will give you more attention."

Just as I expected, her green eyes lit up, and she crawled out of my lap when Mitch came over. "I'm sorry for freaking out, but this is a big day," he told me as he pulled my hair back and began working on my makeup.

"Don't worry. I'm sure everything will go perfectly," I reassured him, keeping my eyes closed until he told me otherwise.

"Just think about it, in three hours, you're going to be Mrs. Ivy Kaplan. That's a pretty big deal," Kirstie said with a small laugh.

"Yeah. I'm gonna have a new sister-in-law," Esther added as she walked over and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"HEY! Don't mess up my art!" Mitch yelled, Esther immediately letting go.

I laughed at how defensive he had gotten, and it didn't take long before I felt a pair of eyes on me. "I still can't believe I'm in the same room as Mitch Grassi and Kirstie Maldonado about to be in my sister's wedding, and she's marrying the Avi Kaplan. When did you're life get so cool?" I heard Zoe ask, causing an outburst of laughter throughout the large room.

"When I decided not to let stage fright hold me back," I told her, finally opening my eyes.

"I'm so jealous. I want my life to turn out like yours," Angel chimed in, joining the brunette.

"Don't be jealous. Just don't let anything hold you back and everything else will happen when the time is right," I said, finding myself watching Athena play with her dolls. A true blessing in disguise, both her and Greyson. I remained quiet, my eyes remaining on her until Mitch finished up my makeup. "Athena, come let mommy do your hair," I said with a wide smile.

She didn't move for several moments, but she eventually got up and ran over. I picked her up and sat her on my lap, beginning to work on her hair as Mitch and Kirstie worked on mine. I finally pinned it with a black and gold barrette. "There."

"Daddy!" she called when I sat her down.

"You'll see him in a little white sweetie." She pouted as she crossed her arms, a frown tugging at her lips, and I couldn't help but laugh. "That's not going to get you anywhere."

"She looks just like him when she does that," Esther said thoughtfully.

"Where do you think she learned it from?" I asked, trying not to crack up. I got up, Esther immediately taking the seat. "Have fun at Mitchie's Salon."

An hour later, the six of us were standing there dressed to impress, and Athena wrapped around Kirstie like a koala. "Let's go. We wouldn't want to be late to your own wedding," Esther said with a small laugh. We left, the ride there filled with talking and excitement, though I kept pretty quiet because of my nerves.
