Dear Ashley,

Momma went to the doctors today to check on you again. She was gone a really long time. She came home really sad and crying, her belly was gone. I asked her what was wrong and she told me not to worry about it. I asked if you were okay and she started crying again. I hope you're not sick Ashley.

When I'm sick I take medicine. Maybe you need medicine too and a good nights sleep. That always helps me. But momma has been really sad all day, maybe you have the flu. I hope you feel better.

Momma always takes care of me when I'm sick, I'm sure she'll take care of you and make you feel better. In no time momma will be happy again and you'll be okay and momma will get her belly back. Maybe you just lost some weight, I lose weight sometimes when I'm sick because I puke and poop so much. I always gain it back though once I feel better. I'm sure that's the case.

Maybe I can make you soup, grandma always says you should have soup when your sick to make you feel better. It really works, I like soup a lot, it's the best kind of medicine.

I once had to take this purple medicine and it was awful, I almost threw it back up. But momma said I'd have to take more if I threw it up. I'm happy I took it all and didn't need to take more.

Momma takes hard medicine and not drinkable medicine. I want her kind of medicine, I want to be just like momma. I want to wear glasses too, even though she doesn't like to wear them. I think she looks pretty in them. Maybe you'll get to have glasses too!
