There may be some things better than sex, and there may be some things worse. But there's nothing exactly like it.
W. C. Fields (1979-1964)
Dear Ashley,
Momma's belly still hasn't come back. I hope you're not still sick, it's been months. Momma seems really sad and her and Shawn have been fighting a lot. I hope that they're okay.
It's Halloween now, my birthday was a few days ago. You were supposed to come but you never did. Maybe mama was wrong and it takes longer than nine months. I wanted to share my candy with you, I think you'd like Halloween, it's really fun. I get to go with both mommy and daddy.
Daddy is getting married to a pretty girl named Billie. She's growing a baby too! Maybe she'll let me name him Hello Kitty! I really hope so, it's a nice name.
Billie is really nice to me, she's nothing like Cinderella's step mom. I look a lot like Billie, but she has blue eyes and I have hazel green ones, just like mommy and daddy. Billie is funny, and she has lots of sisters and brothers. They're all my family now, it's so exciting. I get to be the flower girl in their wedding.
I don't want to wear a dress, especially a pink one. And I don't want to throw flowers in front of people, that's mean to the flowers. But daddy says I can't wear jeans and a shirt like I want. I don't like dresses, they're no fun.
You're not allowed to run around in dresses and you can't wear sneakers. I like sneakers, I actually would rather go bare foot, but apparently that's not acceptable. If I could I'd run around barefoot all the time, but I mostly just wear my Dorothy shoes.
I'll get you a pair of Dorothy shoes. They're sparkly and red and you can tap them around in the ground. It's a lot of fun and they're pretty. Then we can match!
Sincerely,
Jesalique Jordyn Dianne Hires
