«warning: talks of self-harm and suicide»
                     💛Josh💛
Josh walked away from Tyler's house once he saw he was inside.

I hope he is going to be okay.

Josh walked on in silence he felt cold without Tyler and his side, holding his hand. Josh looked down and sighed, all he wanted was Tyler.
He hated leaving him with his parents.
Josh didn't head home at first but decided to stay at the park that he and Tyler first met at. It was filled with giggling kids and their parents. Josh smiled and sat down on a bench, watching the kids play what he thought was tag.
"Excuse me?" Josh looked down and saw a little girl about 5 looking up at him with big green eyes.
"Hmm?" Josh hummed at the girl.
"Can you play tag with us?" Her voice was cute and squeaky.
"If course, sweetie." Josh smiled and nodded, getting up.
She gave a tiny squeal and laughed, running from Josh. "Run!"
All the kids at the park laughed and ran from Josh, squealing as they ran. Josh smiled and ran after the girl, being sure to not startle her too much.
Once he was close enough, Josh scooped the little girl up and tickled her.
"Stop!" She laughed and squirmed in his arms.
Josh laughed. "You're it!" He dropped the girl and ran from her, a wide smile across his face.
Josh stopped about ten minutes later, his face flushed red from the running. He caught his breath and left the park, heading home.
Once inside, Josh flopped down onto his bed in his room. He pulled out his phone.
One missed call from Tyler.
One new voicemail.
Josh's heart fluttered, a nervous feeling overwhelming him.
He unlocked his phone and tapped on the voicemail, holding it to his ear so he could hear it.
"J-Josh I'm so so sorry, I...I did something." A gap of silence. "I'm sorry..."
Josh's heart dropped. He stared at the phone and played the voicemail over again until it set in.

He hurt himself.

Josh stood up and ran out the door, not bothering to tell his mom anything. He looked wildly in both directions before running down the sidewalk he knew led to Tyler's house. Josh ran as fast as his legs would carry him, a sense of dread filling him. He tripped and fell, his face smacking hard against the sidewalk.
He hissed in pain but forced himself back up, running towards Tyler's house once again.
"C'mon Tyler please be alive...please..." Josh whispered as he arrived at Tyler's house. He ran for the tree and climbed it quickly, leaping onto the roof with ease. He ran for Tyler's window, opening it and sliding inside.
Josh stood in silence, staring at Tyler's body laying on the floor.
Tears came to his eyes and he dropped to his knees. "T-Tyler! N-no!"
"J-J-Josh...?" Tyler groaned, turning his head weakly.
Josh crawled over to him, tears flying down his face. "Tyler...." He grabbed Tyler's hand. "Don't let go...don't leave me..."
"Sometimes we must grow stronger and you can't be stronger in the dark, when I'm here no longer you must be stronger..." Tyler sung, looking up at Josh with tear filled eyes.
"No!" Josh yelled, squeezing Tyler's hand. "I'm not gonna let you go!"
Josh stood up and ran into Tyler's bathroom, grabbing whatever he could that would save Tyler. He collapsed onto the ground next to Tyler and began to wrap bandages around his wrist. "I'm not going to let you die."
Tyler watched him wrap his wrists. "You will have to let go one day..."
"I know." Josh said, tears still falling down his face. "But I'm not going to let go today."
Josh scooped Tyler up from the bloodstained floor and climbed out of the window.
"J-Josh....where are we going?" Tyler asked, his voice weak and shaky.
"To the hospital." Josh answered, holding Tyler tight in his arms as he climbed down the tree.
Josh ran off with Tyler grasped in his arms.
Tyler ran his fingers through Josh's yellow hair. "If I go today....please be strong..."
"I'm not going to let you go." Josh looked down on Tyler. "You aren't going to let go either Tyler."
Tyler closed his eyes and rested his head on Josh's arm. "Don't let go...."

Josh sat in the hospital room, holding Tyler's hand as he lay in the bed.
"Tyler...?" He whispered and the boy tilted his head. "Please don't let go."
"I w-won't..." Tyler looked away. "I'm s-sorry f-for putting y-you through t-this."
Josh looked down and squeezed his hand, a stray tear slipping down his cheek. "It's not your fault."
Tyler looked back over, his eyes glowing with tears. "I'm so sorry..."
"Stop saying your sorry." Josh said, trying not to snap. "It's not your fault. Don't be sorry."
"I know...I just..." Tyler hesitates. "I feel like I hurt you every time something happens. I feel like I'm just dragging you down with me."
"Stop." Josh said, crying harder than ever. "Stop it with the apologies."
"Together we're losers, remember the future." Tyler whispered.
Josh looked up, and stared at Tyler's pale tear stained face. They held this position for minutes until finally, Tyler leaned forward and kissed Josh.
Josh kissed back, reaching up to grab Tyler's face. Their lips worked smoothly together and Josh ran his tongue gently along Tyler bottom lip. Tyler parted his lips, allowing Josh's tongue entrance and allowing the kiss to deepen.
Tyler pulled back minutes later and smiled at Josh. "I'm sorry for putting you through hell like this."
"Don't worry about it." Josh said, brushing Tyler's cheek with his thumb. "I'd go through hell with you any day."
Tyler smiled and lay back on the bed. "I love you so much. Thank you for saving me again."
"Of course. I would save you a million times if I had too." Josh grabbed Tyler's hand and kissed it. "I love you too."
Tyler smiled. Josh kissed his cheek. "Don't let go."
