Depression
Living in a zombie like state
Sleeping is better than being awake
Death is so tempting but nobody wants you to die
Drowning in six foot water when you're only five foot five
Struggling for air but you'll never be able to breathe clear breaths
Rarely smiling, unless it's fake
Which happens to be all of the time
You don't want to burden another life with your thoughts so you lock them inside
They'll most likely never escape
You took the key and threw it in a lake
Little do they know you swallowed the key first
So now you're trapped under the surface
You aren't struggling, you never have
You want to drown so badly
You're willing to do whatever it takes to die
That's what it's like to have depression

PoetryJust a girl putting her feelings into words. From poems to unsent letters, I pour my soul into each piece. Many of the pieces are about the dark parts of my mind, and wanting types of love that I'll never be able to have.
