You see this bright eyed hunny
With a smile on her lips
Deep inside she's dying
You see her story has a twist
Mommy was once a lover
Til she saw her use her fists
This little blue eyed baby
Was fearless as can be
Til one day daddy decided that he wanted to leave
This child doesn't know
What later will show
Her battle scars
From wars she fights
With her self
All alone in bed at night
This child's story is different
In fact you may start to see
She wants to love her mother
Who once put fists to her teeth
The tiny youngin' who stands about 5"3'
Only wants her daddy
But instead winds up with leaves
Pointed sharp
Ready for action
The girl finally sees
All along there was this
An alternative with sleeves
She hides her wounds
With smiles
Her face filled up with glee
This small lady
Starting to see
She puts her trust in people
But not in herself
How can she love people
When she can't even love herself?

PoetryJust a girl putting her feelings into words. From poems to unsent letters, I pour my soul into each piece. Many of the pieces are about the dark parts of my mind, and wanting types of love that I'll never be able to have.
