My team was hiding first. I ran over and jumped in to a random bush trying not to be seen. A few minutes later i saw people walking by. I tried to keep as quiet as I possibly could. All of a sudden i heard leaves rustling behind me. I turned around and someone was standing there. "Hey, It's Lucas." the person said.
"Oh my god, you scared the sh*t out of me!" I whispered to him trying to be quiet. Sitting in a bush together didn't give us much room so be were stuck really close to each other. "I think i have dirt all over my back from sitting in here, can you check" I asked Lucas.
"Yeah sure," He said, "No you're fine." A few quiet seconds past and I heard him whisper "You're beautiful."
"Wait what?" I said a little bit confused.
"Oh nothing." Lucas coughed.
Did he just call me beautiful was all I could think. My thoughts were soon interrupted by footsteps getting closer and closer to the bush. We held our breaths trying to be as quiet as we could, but it didn't work. One of Lucas's friends John came in the bush and caught us. As Lucas and I walked back to the jail I couldn't help replaying those two simple words over and over in my head. You're beautiful.
