Finding Him 13
Lucas and I rushed home. We were so dead. I jumped out of his truck as soon as we pulled up to the curb and ran into my house. My parents were standing there waiting for me. It was 10:10.
"Mom, Dad, I am really sorry. It's my fault and I lost track of time" I tried to explain but they just stared at me.
"One week no going out or having people over." My mom said.
Obviously i was disappointed but I didnt want to argue and get in more trouble so I just went up to my room. i was just happy I still had my phone. I saw Lucas was already sitting up there near the window in his room. I picked up my notebook and wrote him a note. It read [Hey. Wanna Video Chat?]. Lucas held up a peice of paper saying [Yes]. I logged onto my laptop and started chatting with Lucas.
"Wow I love the color of my room, it's so pretty. Sorry im being so random." I said smiling embarrassedly.
"Its no big deal. I only got a week without friends over and goign out so thats not to bad" Lucas said still smiling.
"Wow same here! We can atleast do this." I said trying to convince myself that the week wouldnt be to bad.
"Can I be random for a second?" Lucas said out of no where.
"Sure what is it?" I said worried to find out.
"Look out your window." Lucas said with a clever grin.
I turned my head and saw Lucas standing there with a poster board. The words "Will you be my girlfriend?" were written across it in big black letter. My smile bursted!
"So can I take that smile as a yes?" Lucas said excited.
"Under one condition" I said.
Lucas's face dropped. "What?"
"Only if you are my boyfriend." I said laughing.
"Yeah, I think i could deal with that" Lucas said at ease.
