Finding Him 20
I ran straight to Meg's house. I didn't want to be near the church anymore. I was so shocked Lucas would do that to me. Meg didn't live far away. I texted her that I needed to talk to her but sadly she wasn't home. I just sat down on the side walk alone with no shoulder to cry on. Then Lucas pulled up in his car.
All I could say was "Really? Not even two days and you cheated on me. Whatever I am used to getting played. I thought you were different."
Lucas had sad look on his face and said "Em, she kissed me. We dated for a little while last year and I guess she never got over me."
"Well I hope you are happy with her. Whatever, as I said, I am used to it." I said trying to hold back the tears. then I got up and ran all the way home without looking back. I really wasn't sure if I could believe him.
I got home, ran up to my room, and slammed the door shut. I put my radio on full blast and blocked out the world. I layed in my bed thinking for hours. I really didn't understand what I did wrong. Maybe I just wasn't good enough for any one. My parents called me down to eat dinner so I went down stairs and quietly ate. They could tell something was wrong but didn't bother to ask what.
Then I went back to my room and as I was about to turn up the radio again I heard something hit my window. I looked outside and saw Lucas standing there with the same look of despair on his face.
