Finding Him 19

The next morning I talked to my parents and they said it was okay to go to the church group thing. Lucas told me all about it and it seemed a lot of fun. Lucas picked me up at nine and we were at the church by 9:15. There were quite a few people there. Lucas introduced me to a group of girls while we walked around and talked to people.

"Hi, I'm Rachel." the one girl said to me.

"My name is Emily. Lucas brought me here." I said.

"So are you two like dating? You seem pretty close." Rachel asked.

Another girl interrupted "Yeah I was just thinking the same thing, and I'm Molly by the way."

"Yeah we started dating a few days ago." I told them.

They both awed in unison. For most of the meeting I hung out with them. They seemed to be so nice. The meeting was a little boring, but I got to be with Lucas so I couldn't complain. At the end of the meeting I couldn't find Lucas. I asked a random guy.

"I would check in the back room where you hang your jacket." the guy suggested. He pointed me where to go and I went to find Lucas. I thanked him and walked down the hallway to the room. I opened the door of the back room and saw Rachel and Lucas together. Rachel gave Lucas a kiss on the lips. Then they both looked up and saw me. Rachel smiled and Lucas' face dropped. 

"Em, wait! I can explain." Lucas called to me.

"Well I don't want to hear it." I yelled as I ran out the door. I had a tear rolling down my cheek. I didnt know where I was running to but anywhere was better than here.
