Later that night, once i was home, I layed on my trampoline thinking about my day. I kept getting texts from random peole in the schoool. It was really weird to be liked by people from once. My old school was so different compared to here. I started thinking about how this is where Lucas and I were last night, gazing into each others eyes. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket again. I asssumed it was a random number but it was Lucas instead. All it read was a simple "hey" but that was enough to make my heart skip a beat.
Our texting conversation went on for awhile before I got the nerve to ask "Did i do something wrong? Ever since last night you've been weird..." A few minutes past and I still didn't get a reply. I just gave up waiting and turned looking up at the sky. I heard a soft knock on my gate.
Then i saw Lucas's face peak through. "I swear" He said "I'm not avoiding you, I was just scared."
Then there was a short moment of silence before I could say "Why were you scared? You always seem so fearless."
He started to smile a litte bit and then said "Ya know, It's not easy for a guy like me to talk to a beautiful girl, like you."
