Finding Him 12

I called into my parents that i would be back at 10. My parents were pretty strict about curfew. We walked out to Lucas's truck. He opened the door for me as I hopped in. Then we were off to somewhere.

"So can you tell me where we are going yet?" I asked smiling.

"Were just about there." Lucas said. As we drove there we blasted music in the car. We both were singing along like idiots. I felt so comfortable around him. A few minutes later we pulled into an outdoor iceskating rink. "Here we are." Lucas said with hope.

"Oh gosh, you are gonna make fun of me because I am a terrible iceskater. Im gonna fall."  I said laughing a little.

"Dont worry, babe. Ill catch you."

Awe isnt Lucas so sweet. We got our iceskates on and started skating around. Lucas took my hang and lead me through the ice. He started skating backwards and pulled me along with him. He let go of me for a second and I was okay untill i started falling onto the ice. I felt arms wrap behind me. "I told you I'd catch you." I heard Lucas say.

I smiled thankfully at him. Time was flying by. 

We heard someone come over the loud speaker and say "It is now 9:55. The ice rink will be closing at 10. Sh!t i thought! Im going to be late. I tried to call my parents and explain but there was no answer. Lucas tried the same because he was told to be home by 10. The drive home was atleast 10 minutes.
