I was speechless. I didnt even know what to say next. Then Lucas said "We still on for Friday?"
I could feel my smile get even bigger and said "I wouldn't miss it for anything." Lucas just smiled his innocent smile. He looked so amazing. Everything just seemed right when we were together.
We layed on the trampoline for awhile just enjoying each others company. Soon Lucas got called home. He shot me with his cute little smile and walked out the gate. I layed there for a little while longer thinking about everything.
The week seemed to drag on forever but friday night soon came. The two girls from the bonfire, Megan and Lauren, came over my house afer school to help me get ready. The three of us were starting to get really close as friends.
"You are going to look great. Lucas will be speachless." Megan said with plenty of confidence. I still was a little nervous. I could feel the butterflies pounding in my stomach. Then we heard the door bell ring. I ran to the door and opened it will a huge smile on my face. Lucas's face lit up.
"Em, you look amazing." He managed to say.
"Thanks, you look great to." I said looking him up and down.
"So you ready to go?" Lucas asked. "You are in for a fun night." He added.
