Finding Him 16
After a day full of fun Nick dropped me and Lucas back off at house.
"My parents are not home yet. Want to hang in the backyard?" I asked Lucas. He just gave a smile and I knew that meant yes. We walked into my backyard and decided to go up into the little tree house where no one could see us. Lucas sat down leaning against the wall. I sat down on his lap and he wrapped his arm around me. It was so peaceful and perfect at this moment. I felt like nothing could bring me down.
"I wish it could always be like this." Lucas said at random.
"What do you mean like this."
"I mean we could always be together no worries and no one interfering." He trailed off.
"As soon as we are un-grounded it will be like this every day." I reminded him. He kissed me on my forehead, then my lips.
"You are beautiful" he whispered as he kissed me again. I felt sparks fly every time our lips touched. It was like magic. I felt the butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. Then we heard a car door slam in the front of the house. I looked out the window of the tree house and saw my parents. "Oh my gosh! They are home early. We are going to get caught."
"Run to your room and I will leave when they are not looking" Lucas said rushing me down the ladder. He gave me one last kiss and I sprinted into my house. I made it to my room just in time.
"How was your day, Emily?" my mom called up to me.
"Pretty boring." I called back. Then out my window I saw Lucas run to his house. He came up to his room and we started talking as we sat at our windows ,separated.
"I still want to be with you, right now" Lucas said.
" I want to be to but I don't see how." I reminded him.
"Sneak out." Lucas said. I gave it a second of thought and decided, why not?
