Before we go

chapter 8

"LEXY!!! COME ON HURRY YOUR ARSE! WE HAVE TO GET ON THE ROAD!" I shout up the stairs. I hear her giggle and I roll my eyes. about 5 minutes later im about to yell after her again but I am stopped by the gorgeous girl coming down the stairs. I smile and she sends one back. "finally" I say and she laughs pushing me. I laugh as well and we go to the living room. the boys are there and so is james. lexy goes over to him and hugs him.

"im gonna miss you and your usual aracasm." he says and she laughs.

"ill be home before you know it okay? and youll be in Italy with your family, so youll have fun and not have to worry about me okay?" she says and he nods. he hugs her again and whispers something in her ear.

"promise me that you will not do anything while your gone, I cant almost lose you again."i manage to hear and out of the corner of my eye I see her nodding her head. I let the breath I didn't know I was holding out. she lets go of him and kisses his cheek.

"bye james I will see you in two weeks, I promise."

"bye my un-biological child." he says with a smile and she laughs. she then makes her way over to the boys and I.

"you ready?" I ask her and she nods with a smile still on her face. we head out and get in the van I rented for us. I get in the drivers seat and put the keys in the ignition. "to Doncaster we go!" I shout getting cheers and grunts in response. zayn and harry aren't morning people. we set off and after about 2 hours they are restless.

liam is asleep next to me but the other 4 are people I cant stand at the moment. they keep talking and asking me questions and I just want them to shut up.

"if I need to I will get the duct tape." I say and they all roll their eyes.

"you don't have any." lexy says and I pull some out of the glove box.

"whats this then?" I ask with a smirk and they shut up. but an hour later they are back to talking but asking lexy questions this time.

"HEY HEY HEY ONE AT A TIME!" she exclaims and I chuckle.

"why don't you just tell us all about you?" harry says.

"okay well, im 19, I have lived in doncaster all my life until after I got kicked off the X-Factor. my full name is Alexandra Marie Cowell. simon is my dads brother and my uncle. my favorite color is purple and black. I love to sing but I haven't since the X-Factor. I love to read, write, draw, and to take pictures. I have my masters in cosmetology but I don't think that I will do anything with it. I haven't been out of my house much since about 2 years ago unless it was to get groceries. I also love to take walks by myself to get some air from all that's going on, to get away from everything that's putting pressure on me. I have this tree in Doncaster that I used to climb, I also have a cliff that I used to walk to just to look out at the view. no one really knows where it is. before we left for the X-factor I went to my cliff and just looked out because I knew that things might have changed but they were going to change even more. I went there with my dad when I was little with my dad and mom before things started to get shaky. I guess you could call it my safe place.

I met Louis in pre-school and we clicked as soon as we both jumped off the swing at the same height and at the same time. I ended up with a broken arm and he helped me the whole time I had my arm in a sling. it was really sweet. I have great times with him and im glad hes my.... best friend." I can hear the pain in her voice when she said best friend. whats that about?

----2 hours later----

we pull into my mums driveway, and the boys all jump out in front of lexy. we walk right in and they are all sat in the living room. "what a welcome." I say and they all jump up to hug me. I laugh and hug them back.

"wheres that litt-. I mean wheres Eleanor I thought she would be with you." fizzy says and I smile.

"well im not Eleanor sorry." lexy says coming from around the corner and their eyes go wide. they all run over to her and pull her into a group hug. when they let go my mum pulls her into a one on one hug.

"god how I have missed you. I was right with Louis while looking for you. I had so many leads but Louis said to give it up, that it was useless. he was so heart broken. I see that my Louis is back." she says and I know that I am red. lexy smiles and walks over and hugs me. I hug her back a small smile on my face knowing shes in my arms. my heart starts to beat a mile a minute and feel butterflies in my stomach.

"well why don't we catch up then?" the girls ask at the same time and we all laugh. and that's how we spend most of our first day in Doncaster. talking and catching up. I loved it.
